I just went in to get some fries. Overpriced! I paid $ 5 for a ‘medium’ which in my opinion was more of a small. Fresh fries my ass, I saw them pull a bag out of the freezer. The fries sucked and for a fish and chips place I was surprised. I looked at the rest of the menu and everything looked overpriced. Don’t go here.
I’ve recently discovered texx big burger which is basically part of the same complex and I would recommend getting fries from them. For $ 2 you get a crap load of fries that are pretty decent.

This is a small greasy spoon fish and chips joint in a strip mall. Everything is «home made» says the owner. Batter, coleslaw, chips and fresh fish. Prices are decent with a 6 piece cod family meal costing $ 25. Two piece dinner costs $ 6.25.
However, the food had highs and lows. The fish was very greasy. (One look at the deep fryer and you could see the reason why.) The chips were good but for a family meal there simply was not enough to go around. The coleslaw was awful! Good thing it comes in tiny containers that would not feed an earwig! Fortunately, there are much better F&C shops around this area so I doubt I will be back.
