Tri Geeks Multisport

A couple of weeks back I signed up on a whim to my first triathlon, at the time I was pretty excited but the next day it dawned on me how much work I have to do to get ready and I only have 7 weeks!
This event will require a wetsuit and I just didn’t have one nor have any clue on where/​how to get one! I called up Tri Geeks and Tanya booked me in that afternoon for a wetsuit fitting.
Tri Geeks is pretty much a one stop shop for anything triathlon related from bike parts, clothing and swimsuits. Tanya was amazing, very patient with me and was able to answer all of my questions.
First we started with the wetsuits. These are rather complicated to get on so we spent the first 20 minutes just learning how to get inside of one of these, we did this with a couple of them and I found the right suite with the right fit.
The next part? They have a small endless pool right there so I could actually swim in the suit that I was trying on. Being able to try the wetsuit on in water was HUGE for me, so I spent a good 15 min swimming away trying to get a good feel for it. I liked the suit so much I decided to buy it even though renting it is also an option there.
After that there were a few more things that I picked up but Tanya was an amazing wealth of knowledge. Thanks to her I feel much more intimidated and prepared for my upcoming race.
