One of the best bakeries around Surrey, in my experience. I’ve been coming here for almost 5 years and they are great. The only down side is that they are extremely busy and usually run out by the end of the day! If you would like to order a cake for 10+ people, I would order a few days in advance so that they can have it ready and you don’t have to panic(like I have, LOL). The«creampuff» cake is my personal favorite because I am a fan of the flaky doughy cream puffs. The cakes in general are very filling and obviously very rich! Great little place!

Even though our office would get birthday cakes here, I never loved their cakes. They were always meh… so so. Just the other day in a hurry I stopped and got the tiramisu cake for a birthday gift. Worst cake I ever had!!! Couldn’t even finish my slice. It tasted like nothing, icing was empty fluffed foam, it even had a cream(like a bechamel sauce) filling. There was no coffee or liquor in the cake at all. Completely disgusting. I went back and told them all of this. To my complete surprise(maybe not so much) the lady at the counter said it was one of their clients’ favorites. Really? I know the cakes here are not as good as in Europe, but Canada please: try harder. Oh, and she said the icing was a non-animal based one. So what exactly? Definitely no butter or real cream. Veneto’s: it’s not hard satisfying people with treats. Just use the ingredients you were supposed to in the first place. Cheap bastards! Never going there again ever!!!

stooped by here once when i was in surrey the food is made from scracth. Which is a lot more then a lot of other places can say. I would recommend anyone go here of coffee, pastries, and sandwiches. All of their cakes are made by themselves. They employ tons of staff at fair wages!

I wasn’t sure what to expect but MAN do they have a great variety of goodies… for an afternoon treat or to take home for a dinner party! I bought a piece of Chocolate Mouse cake that was smooth and delicious. I bought the TART lemon square. It was a tad grainy for my taste and lacked a bit of lemon flavour. The florentine cookie was amazing as was the walnut cookie(big flat cookie with powdered sugar on it) I also tried the chocolate brownie type square. It was okay but lacked a bit of richness that I was looking for but worth a try. Head on in and check out the variety of goodies and cakes that they have. It’s worth it if you’re in the area!

Very great little bakery with limited seating and a lovely take out counter display. Friendly, helpful service. Reasonable prices for above average, impressive baked goods. If you’re in this area(which I try not to be), I highly recommend stopping in — even if just to get treats to go. A box or two of assorted cookies makes an excellent workplace treat for co-workers!

Yummy little desserts and full size cakes as well. This is a tiny little gem in Newton Surrey. It has maybe 5 tables so take your sammy and napoleon to go. This used to be my favourite hang out for a coffee and sweet treat but I have moved and go much less frequently. Still the best bakery in Surrey. Good coffee, imported treats, cookies, st. honore cakes, tiramisu, decadent petit fours.
