Description

Specialties

Fresh, healthy and incredibly flavourful salads, wraps, soups and desserts. Prepared fresh on-site every day and served with a smile (and sometimes a hug). Dinner service Thursday & Friday evenings. Small selection of wines by the glass or bring your own bottle.

History

Established in 2007.

NOTE: Our dining room is closed for the winter. However, are accepting reservations for Friday night dinners, plus we are offering a delectable selection of soups and heat-n-eat meals for take away.

In 2007, Cori Doern gave a jar of homemade soup as a thank-you to her daughter’s schoolteacher. Word spread quickly and, within weeks, Cori had sold 250 jars to local soup lovers. By the end of the year, Cori was supplying liquid gold to cafés in Newmarket and Toronto.

Fast forward to April, 2013. Overwhelming demand from a growing chorus of Georgina foodies prompted Cori to open the doors of Cori’s Café, at 132 High Street in Sutton, to the public.

As of October 2014 Cori’s Café is licensed and offers wine by the glass; or you can bring your own bottle for uncorking.

Today, thanks to that one jar of soup, you don’t have to go far to find delicious soups, salads, wraps and desserts.

Meet the Business Owner

Cori D.

Business Owner

She’s the Cori in Cori’s Café, naturally. And she’s naturally gifted in the art of flavour fusion.

But beyond her ability to concoct delicious food in her mind and somehow make it appear on a plate, greater than her strict attention to detail and quality control, Cori’s most wonderful traits shine through when she visits your table in the dining room.

You can expect a Q & A on your palate, likes and dislikes. You might even be treated to the taste of a new sauce or dressing.

Because Cori’s love for creating and making good food is rooted firmly in her love for feeding people who love good food.
