Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa

I went for a massage and the young girl who provided the service talked the whole way through it about herself, and her sister. She told me her sister was rapped and stabbed in both hands. Then went on to tell me about the therapy her sister went through to recover. It was a brutal story, and it ruined my day! I decided not tell the manager all though I did make the call, as I felt bad for her. I will NEVER go there again. the story has haunted me ever since.
Terrible Terrible thing to tell your client while receiving what was supposed to be a relaxing hour. So I paid for it and left!

I love this place. I’ve been coming here over the last two years and I generally try to see Janna every two weeks. She’s amazing. Speaking as someone who has chronic back issues, I always leave this place feeling great and super relaxed. Janna also does fantastic prenatal massages, which is a godsend as currently I’m 6 months along and she’s good at easing away pregnancy-​related discomforts.

I came here to get a massage after venturing to another spa where they injured my back. Yuriy was a great technician. He asked me questions to figure out what I needed to get done and I left feeling a lot better. He performed a deep tissue massage and helped alleviate the pain I received at the other spa.
I would definitely recommend Yuriy for deep tissue massages or to help alleviate pain after a sport injury.
However, I was three minutes late and then the receptionist made me wait over 10 minutes for my massage to begin. I enquired with Yuriy to ensure I was going to receive my full massage. They didn’t want to give me my full time but eventually did. If you choose to go here, make sure you arrive on-​time or they will try and gyp you from receiving a full service.

The actual establishment looks great… but the service is terrible and I would never come again. I don’t go for many massages but when I do, I expect to be satisfied when I leave. I asked for a full body massage and when my hour was done, the masseuse skipped my feet. When I asked her why she skipped my feet, she rudely responded «You didn’t ask me to do your feet!». I didn’t ask her to do my shoulders either but she did them anyway.
I wouldn’t advise going here… regardless of how nice the place looks.

I actually did have a massage here after buying a Groupon offer. The place is decorated to the nines, with a white staff. This shows me two things
a) They are not asian immigrants and therefore do not meet my authenticity test, boring Canadian technique. I am not racist but am an avid massage customer and have found this to be consistent time and time again.
b) The fact that they need all of the decoration says something about the quality of their actual product.
Lo and behold I went to have my massage and was greeted by a young chubby white man, quite nice but asking questions which I was not in the mood for. (Spa= Relax no?)
He was weak, had terrible skill, no variety, boring boring boring. It was a bad massage, I would say 3^rd in my list of worst massages.
If you want a great massage go to Go Relax! spa on yonge and ask for the massage where they walk on you by holding on to bars from the ceiling (woman knows what she is doing and its awesome.
Or go to Relaxology located in T&T at promenade mall. Small place but GREAT massages. Ask for SaSa, she really knows what she is doing.

I was not even able to make an appointment because I do not use credit cards. The explanation that I’ve received is: «we have 24 hour cancellation policy, what if you cancel or don’t come in in time for your appointment?»
— I offered to come in person, so they can have copy of my Driver’s License or leave a cheque, so I can book my appointment… and they responded that they cannot do anything for me.
Very disappointed.
