Rachel A. Clingen Wedding and Event Design have been leaders in the wedding and event industry for more than 18 years. From Toronto to Barrie, and Muskoka, we have helped in the planning of wedding décor for brides all over Ontario. All services are provided ‘in house’ for a less complicated design experience and to ease the stress of multiple vendors. Our full wedding flowers and décor services include innovative floral design, spectacular backdrops, chair covers, linens, draping and a comprehensive line of trendsetting props and centrepieces.

History

Established in 1992.

After searching Toronto without success for unique wedding décor items and a company that could handle both the flowers and décor planning for her wedding, Rachel recognized the need for a company that could handle the planning and décor. Although Rachel resided in Toronto, the wedding would take place in a tent in Sault Ste Marie, Rachel felt the need to search the Toronto market for wedding décor item. It became evident to Rachel that there were many companies that could deliver the wedding flowers and others that could deliver mundane rental items, but there seemed to be no one that could do both and handle the logistics of setting up and handling the over-​all design. It was for this reason that Rachel and David handled all the planning and floral responsibilities for their own wedding.

Rachel’s passion for design, color, and texture, along with David’s management and technical skills working for a tent company were the recipe for creative, well managed design firm.

Business Owner

Rachel brings her acute sense of visual aesthetics and her passion for colour, form, and texture to every assignment. She has the uncanny ability to visualize a transformation in any room and make it happen regardless of the design challenge.

David, is the technical backbone of the team with his 20 years of experience in event production and tent rental businesses. He ensures smooth operations with setup, logistics, and equipment at various sites managing the critical details so that everything comes together on time and on budget.

This dynamic duo along with their dedicated team has performed dramatic transformations of interior environments all over Ontario. Their combined complimentary skills are matched by their exceptional personal care and customer service.
