Location: In Thornhill at Bayview and Laurel leaf. Its in a plaza with a bunch of other food places and anchored by a longos. Parking: It’s a grocery store plaza in the suburbs. That means a tonne of free parking. No parking stress, its also Laurel leaf is signalised so LEFTTURNS Store: If you have been following my account you know I love Starbucks. It’s rare that I don’t like a location. I don’t like this one. Staff: Staff doesn’t clean or organise the tables or seats once groups that move them around leave. We’ve been here over an hour and no one has come from behind the counter and wiped or straightened anything. When I first came a wheeled garbage bin was blocking the door to the bathroom. Three staff were standing right by it and I had to move it myself. They were busy bitching about their schedules. Well two people who were«working» and another who stopped in. Joy. Don’t need to hear that. I’ve never been here where I haven’t heard staff complaining. Sigh.

Man, this store is a little hidden gem! I had no idea there was a Starbucks here until the other day! Makes life a lot easier when I’m in this area! Just south of Bayview & John, this little Starbucks has lots of parking space and more seating than I remember most other stores have. Baristas were extremely friendly and bubbly, and definitely made me feel welcome. Nice and quick with drink orders as well. Will definitely try and come to this store more often when I’m around this area!

This Starbucks is pretty average. They were really efficient but they didn’t have any cake pops and the drink that I normally get tasted off. It was way spicier than normal. I’m wondering if they served me a chai soy latte instead of the Oprah chai tea soy latte that I ordered. I wasn’t impressed because every other Starbucks makes this drink taste the same as all the other coffee shops. This location failed to do that. They do have a bunch of tables and chairs, which was nice. However this is a really busy location and none of them were available.

My favorite coffee shop. It could be because its located right in my neighborhood or maybe cause folks are super friendly and helpful.

I’m a regular here only because it’s on my way to work. Staff members are not the nicest. Last week on a Thurs afternoon, I ordered a drink and there were other people waiting for their handcrafted bev. The lady just placed the drink on the counter and didn’t even call my name. It’s ok if I was just the only one waiting. How difficult is it to call out? This afternoon I ordered a tall pike, got a venti instead. I also ordered bagels, the lady even asked if I want it warmed up, I said yes. A good 10 mins later, I followed up on the bagels, they not only forgot about it, and they wanted to charge me again.

My local neighborhood SB that I always overlook to check into. The staff is top notch and always out to provide you with a wonderful experience. The shop is not very big but the seating situation is very efficient with many tables that can be arranged to suit any size of group(s). The coffee quality is always spot on and have yet yo have a bad cup. The washrooms here are also very well maintained and a good emergency stop if stuck in traffic upfront.

I was not too happy with this location. The cashier was not really nice like the ones I’m used to. They put way too much ice in my venti very berry hibiscus refresher, about 80% of the drink was ice. I ALWAYS order this drink and was never given this much ice in one drink! If I knew, I would have asked for less ice. ordered a cake pop, after telling her the flavor I wanted, she did not know which one it was.

I found that this location is a great place for R. Hill students to study up. Lots of room and outlets are available and because it is somewhat out of the way it is nice and quiet. The staff here are standard Starbucks friendly so its a ton of fun talking with them. Other than being a nice study spot it doesn’t stick out any further so its relegated to the A-OK group.

It’s a Starbucks, you know what you’re getting. Variable quality of service, they’re not generally as bad as bold c’s review, but Starbucks is rarely stellar.

This is the best Starbucks Coffee I have been! Upon entering I thought it is just another Starbucks, but I was delightfully surprise. Plenty of tables available and none of them were closely packed together! The staffs were so energetic and young! I felt welcome and I can tell they really enjoys working here. And I was lucky to be here for their specials! From March 10 – 12 between 2 pm to 5 pm, you can pick a free treat with your drinks! mini cupcakes, lemon squares, sweet on a stick. I ended up picking a Rocky Road treat on a stick, went so well with my coffee! The music though is a little loud, too loud for my taste. Ended up patrons have to talk loud enough to be heard. So if you want to come and chill or to study, you might have to bring your earphones listening to more mellow music. I just could not concentrate with all the noises when I am writing this review on the run!
