Founded in 1968, our rich academic curriculum inspires students to evolve into confident, creative thinkers who are socially responsible and environmentally conscious.

We offer Parent & Child, Preschool & Kindergarten, Elementary School and High School programs, and are authorized to grant credits toward the Ontario Secondary School Diplomas.

Toronto Waldorf School is a member of Association of Waldorf Schools of North America (AWSNA) and Waldorf Early Childhood Association of North America (WECAN).

History

Established in 1968.

Toronto Waldorf School first opened its doors in Willowdale in September 1968, with a nursery, Grade 1 and 2 classes. The school was moved to the current location in Thornhill in 1973. The first Grade 8 graduation took place in June 1975. Our High School program began in September 1976. Our first Grade 12 class was graduated in June 1979.
