History
Established in 1993.
Culinary Historian, Shirley Lum, also Founder/Owner/Guide extraordinaire went off-the-beaten-path while travelling solo 21⁄2 months in Europe on her bicycle in 1988, and decided to welcome all walks of life to the different ways of exploring her own unique city called Toronto. Her motto is reflected by Marcel Proust’s quote about learning new things: «The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new lands, but in seeing with new eyes». Every Foodies, Literary Detective and Ghost walks kicks off with that beautiful quote.
