Worst tasting shwarma ever. I will definitely not be going to this place ever not for a shwarma at least.

This shop is small but stocks the essentials such as dry goods(rice, nuts, spices) and has a halal meat counter. Went in today because I was across the street at the Cedarbrae Library and still had not eaten lunch yet. A sign hangs on the south side of the building, advertising shwarma, which was exactly what I needed. Went to the back of the shop where there was only chicken shwarma available. That was fine as it was delicious. The young gent who was working the sandwich counter was friendly and told me that a bit about the store, knowing immediately that this was the first time I was in the store. He gave me the student discount even as an incentive to return and also as a nice gesture when I told him I was a teacher, definitely no longer a student. Sandwich was delicious! I would definitely return. They do a lot of business during weekday lunch with the teachers at Cedarbrae Collegiate. Please go and support this little business. If I wasn’t in such a hurry, I would have investigated the Afghan bakery sweets as well as the yummy looking Afghan bread. There were also different flavoured pistachios available for $ 9.99 /lb.
