Angies Dogs

Malak has been our dog walker/​dog sitter for over three years. He is 100% reliable and has not missed one days work in this time. He seems to me to be a «dog whisperer» and takes expert care of our dog Wellesley. We had to move out of our house for six months during a renovation and could not take our dog with us to the rental house. Malak agreed to take Wellesley during this long term leave. During that time Wellesely was diagnosed with cancer which brought a set of extra duties including giving a number of medications daily and preparing a special diet. Malak also treated Wellesley holistically during that time and we firmly believe that Malak saved her life. Wellesley has anxiety and is not comfortable being away from us… until we met Malak. Wellesley believes she is going on «vacation» when she gets to stay with Malak. He treats every dog as if they were part of his family. We feel blessed to have met Malak and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for care/​walking. I would be happy to give verbal reference to anyone interested.

When faced with dog-​sitting my parent’s pooch for a week I was unsure how I would manage letting the dog out during the day — I am a 30 min commute to work and getting home over the noon-​hour would be tight. I contacted Angie’s Dogs as they were in my neighbourhood and from the first communication it was a pleasure working with them.
I was a bit nervous about hiring a dog walker — especially as they not only walk your dog but also enter your home to pick up the dog — trust is essential. Jane was my «walker» and she was fabulous — before she took the dog out, she emailed me to ask if there were any special requests and/​or things she should know about the dog. After both walks, she sent me detailed notes on where they walked and what they did (EX. played frisbee in Monarch Park, went to an off leash area, etc.). She also provided advice on how some irregular digestive «issues» the dog was having which I really appreciated.
I highly recommend Angie’s Dog and if you get Jane, you are lucky!
