History

Established in 1980.

Ross Johnstone has been active in all aspects of architecture since1963, first as a partner in two full service architectural firms, Arnott MacPhail Johnstone and Wiens Johnstone, and then as founder and principal of ARCAD Computer Aided Drafting Ltd.

In both of his architectural practices, Ross was fully engaged in design, working drawing production and construction supervision. This approach of involvement in all stages of the architectural process has contributed to the understanding of design, construction and materials integration.

ARCAD has been offering its services to the profession since 1986, and during that time ARCAD has successfully completed over 150 projects in countries around the world, encompassing all building types and budgets.
