–6 stars… I have come here several times… The staff is friendly. However, I feel they have not been properly trained in making the drinks they sell. The coffee beans are good quality however, sometimes the load is packed to tight and the espresso comes out with a burnt taste. Other times in a latte it is either too over heated or comes out like a cappuccino. In the simplest way put very inconsistent and not in anyway good. Some of the desserts are really over priced for the quality and quantity you are getting(i.e. Small Almond croissant $ 4.20) Today I ordered an Early Grey. The earl grey tea I had tasted moldy … It also made me sick… Which makes me question what type of hygiene they have there. Will not be going back to this place ever … They are a disgrace to cafes. Tip* go to the Starbucks upstairs in the indigo or across the street… They are closer to what it should really taste like… You will get the coffee, late, cappuccino or tea the way it should be done.

Super nice décor; very contemporary. The seating types vary and I really like that. It’s a corner unit, so there’s big windows that let lots of natural light in, which is nice, and makes the place more calming. You enter and proceed towards the back, which is where you place your order. Their menu is on the tv screens up high, which were a little bit awkward to look at. But they also have physical menus by the order station. Order taker was friendly; he was cool. You get your order taken, give your name, find a seat, and then they ring the bell and call you on a PA system to let you know your food/drink is ready. Ordered the Organic Kale and Portobello salad: baby kale, grilled portobello, roasted red peppers, round slices of goat cheese. Got the low-fat balsamic vinaigrette on the side, which is nice because I like putting my own amount of dressing in the salad. Loved the flavour combination of the ingredients. 8⁄10. Also ordered soy chai latte. A little bit sweet to my liking, but they got the microfoam consistency just right. Price was decent for the good quality, nothing to complain about.

One of the few non-Starbucks coffee shops open semi-early(7:30am). Grilled tofu can be substituted for cheese/meat at no charge. So they are sorta vegan friendly. Espresso is good.

Nice looking café. It was neat, clean and close to my hairdresser. Food is pretty standard for a café /coffee place. But I like that most aroma locations have new décor and are clean.

Good quality drinks, with terrible customer service. The girl working here didn’t offer to ask what we want to order despite not having other customers around. She made zero effort in communication other than telling us the price and gave us stained steel spoons. Solution? plastic spoons

Really exceptional customer service here makes it a stand-out spot for lunch, coffee, or dessert. I popped in before an appointment nearby and had the soup and sandwich combo — I highly recommend the red lentil soup and any of the sandwiches they make here. There’s a patio for warm weather and plenty of natural light coming in through the windows — seems like an ideal spot to meet a friend or get lost in a good read.

There aren’t enough words to describe how brilliant the customer service is at this Aroma location. I live in the area and I used to stop by there almost daily to finish up work and enjoy a snack and cup of coffee. I have to note that their internet is super fast(unlike most coffee shops which take forever to open up pages and require you to accept terms and conditions every two seconds logging you out). So if you are looking for a place to do some work and need internet then definitely check this place out. In terms of customer service, I believe one of the co-owners is Justin – he is absolutely the kindest and most pleasant person I have come across at any establishment. Observing my frequent presence at the coffee shop he always ensured I was comfortable and sometimes even sending some snacks to my table for me to enjoy and sample. There is also Lisa, who makes an incredible vanilla latte and always ensures my time there is as pleasant as ever. I love their pea soup – its a generous amount and you can get it with various bread options including whole wheat, whole grain, and white. I also enjoy their cappuccino and how their drinks always come with a small piece of chocolate. If you are in the area and looking for a coffee shop – this place will not disappoint.

Aroma Espresso Bar seems to be opening up everywhere in Toronto but in a good way. More selection for us coffee lovers aside from Starbucks. Espresso Maccihato or Americano or Espresso Con Panna or a Turkish Coffee always for choices of drink at Aroma and always been consistent! The barista in this location is friendly and welcoming. And of course nothing top off a good espresso drink than a piece of chocolate!

My friendly neighborhood Aroma! This place is a short walk from my new house, and even though we haven’t moved in yet I’ve already started frequenting. They’re super friendly and sweet, and serve great food and coffee drinks. Favourites include the goat cheese and lentil and sweet potato salad, the cheese bureka, my man likes their chai lattes and egg salad sandwiches a lot.
