Completely agree with the review above. The staff are completely ill equipped to be working in this office. They overbook every time slot and act shocked and amazed when everyone shows up for their appointment and then the doctor is behind. Yesterday I waited 3 hours for an appointment that was set up 6 months in advance. The receptionist was rude, uncommunicative and unable to properly explain such a delay. It was a completely upsetting experience. This doctor should find a new set of staff and if you do decide to go to him, make sure you are available to wait, and wait, and wait.

Dr Atin is great: friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive. Sadly, his staff are very unhelpful, extremely unprofessional, and have very poor record management skills. They lose medical records frequently, require patients to contact hospitals, labs, and pharmacies to process their own labs/​prescriptions/​etc, and often will not answer their phone or respond to messages. If you do manage to connect with them, they will often tell you to «call back next week» and hang up on you. They also will put you on hold and have extremely personal/​unprofessional conversations with their coworkers while you hang in limbo (so happy to learn about their weekend while attempting to schedule a follow up appointment). Good luck scheduling your appointments with the wonderful doctor, because getting through his unresponsive staff is almost impossible. Even my GP’s office has difficulty reaching them and has frequently comment on his rude and unprofessional staff.
While Dr. Atin is great, it’s not worth the constant struggle of dealing with his office staff. If you have no choice, document every single call/​interaction with his staff and follow up constantly with them. Otherwise, you will spend hours hunting down lost records, trying to get them to answer the phone or return a voice-​mail, or worst of all, communicating with your GI in emergencies or flares or even routine follow up appointments. Never leave the office without an appointment card, even if they tell you to «just call back next week».
