Description

Specialties

From all day breakfast including our Eggs Madeline or Chicken Avocado brie to homemade soups, sandwiches and salads, Aziza Café is for anyone who loves good, fresh comfort food. Our soups and breads are prepared and baked here along with our delicious curried chicken and steak pies. Beyond feeding your body, we seek to feed your soul by supporting local artists and sharing their work in our relaxing environment.

History

Established in 2012.

Opening in 2012, Aziza Café has been an always fresh stop for the Toronto area and those strolling along College Street. Inspired by an African tale the owner’s mother would tell her while living in Mozambique, Aziza Café is named after a fairy race that lives in the forests. Should one encounter an Aziza, they will receive good luck in their endeavors. Aziza Café looks forward to many more breakfasts, lunches and dinners to come with Toronto.

Meet the Business Owner

Adelina F.

Business Owner

I have over 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Originally from Mozambique, I most recently owned Kubata between 2002 and 2004. Prior to that, I work out on the Sunshine Coast in British Columbia to run Lina’s Lounge and Catering, however after eight exhausting years I returned to Toronto to bring wholesome comfort food to the community. My team and I are thrilled to share our dishes with you as we strive to enrich your body and soul.
