I have been to so many cupcake places in the city and this one is on the top of the list!!! It is always so fresh, in stock, and great flavours, and taste! Such awesome quality. So much better than the Cupcake Shoppe south of it on Yonge, plus they always have MINIS in stock! I always grab cupcakes for my store staff and guests for special events! Can’t say enough about this place. You won’t regret going here! :)

The best bakery shop in the neighbourhood, you should try it! I always take my friends there and they love it!

I had a nice experience. Walked in, couldn’t decide between a chocolate or chocolate with raspberry icing and the employee(owner?) recommended raspberry because it was summer and it seemed like a refreshing cupcake for the summer time. The cupcake looked very cute with a little heart at the top. It tasted very fresh! The icing was light and the cupcake not too sweet. It was a bit hot inside the store, but the owner opened all the windows and doors to air it out. Sorry for everyone who didn’t have a good experience.

Honestly people, i don’t know about your negative comments but i assure you my honesty. Its not the worst place or the best place but lets be realistic every place has its ups and downs, this place all that needs is a renovation. When it comes to sweets i’m very picky so i decided to give it a try following the reviews, but i was surprised how good their cookies and cupcakes were. I tried all their cupcakes in different visits and all tasted better then the other. In regards staff being on the phone for so long, well i don’t blame them, as they are taking orders. It looks more of being short staff, as myself i was once in the same position as they are and i understand what they go through. Well overall my review i say understaff but good cupcakes and very nice people ;-). Cheers

Bakes and Goods did a cupcake tower for our wedding. We really liked the way the cupcakes looked and our friends and family thought they tasted great! The owner was very helpful and responsive to my questions by email. Overall, we were satisfied with their services.

Don’t buy cupcakes from here! I live in the area and walk my dog past here very often. Full disclosure, I did not buy anything from here and my review is solely based on what I observed. I walked into the shop to look at the cupcakes but the employee was on the phone. She was on the phone for a while — long past my patience to wait for a cupcake so I left. On my way out I noticed a lot of ants crawling around on the front display cupcakes. Not sure if those are for sale but I sure hope not! I was sooooo glad I didn’t buy anything at the end.

*Visited approximately two weeks ago. I had just had a spa appointment up the street and was walking back to the subway when I saw the sign in the window to try their flavor of the week — red velvet crumble. I’m a sucker for cupcakes(especially red velvet) so I thought I’d pop in and give it a try. :) Went inside and the employee was on the phone. I had a look and what was around and tried to make some small talk, asking if it was a new place, etc — she didn’t seem interested so I just grabbed a red velvet crumble and a regular red velvet. Mmm… Underwhelming. They both had buttercream/cream cheese icing(which was great, because I hate whipped cream on cupcakes) but the amount of icing was super stingy. They did not taste fresh, moist or any of the other things you want from a really good cupcake and were of average size. Wouldn’t return. For around the same price, I can go to Prairie Girl and get massive, mouthwatering cupcakes from a happy employee.

I really liked this cupcake shop. I was walking along yonge street and came across this bakery. They didn’t have many options but still decided to give it a shot. I selected the strawberry cupcake. Delicious! A bit pricey but it was definitely not something I regret. Very moist and not too sweet. I’m surprised there isn’t many reviews on it. Great stop :)

We decided to try this place instead of our usual cupcake Shoppe on Yonge street. We tried the fall pumpkin cupcake with cream cheese icing which was ok. The cake part was moist, the icing didn’t taste like much. We also tried the red velvet and cookie dough cupcake. The red velvet cupcake was tasteless and the cookie dough was not impressive either. I would definitely go elsewhere next time.

I went in and the owner seemed rude. She was on the phone and did not acknowledge me. There was another customer that came in and noticed this and left. I took the cupcakes home to my family and they noticed that was oily and made from shortening. The red velvet cupcake was also quite dry. Do not go here!

I don’t understand why anyone would go here. The Red Velvet is pathetic and not worth the money. Luckily the amazing and faithful«The Cupcake Shoppe» is not even two blocks away and worth every cent(and also thankfully, nut-free!)

I noticed this cupcake store as I walked up Yonge street. I have a compulsion to sample any cupcake store I come across especially the new ones. I walked into the store and the lady was on the phone, in the middle of an order. Their offerings must be good, I thought. There were beautiful displays of fancy looking cookies everywhere. The woman on the phone looked at me but didn’t acknowledge me, not even a smile or a nod. I waited for a while and decided to head out to the next store to checkout the wallets on sale. When I was done, I came back to the store. She was now off the phone and I was the only customer in the store. I smiled and tried to strike up a conversation. I asked if the store was new etc. She didn’t seem excited by my mild curiosity and gave one word answers. So the store was indeed new but I thought that even on a bad day, it couldn’t hurt to smile or even acknowledge a potential customer, you know? Anyways, I hurriedly left with a red velvet and a cookie crumble cupcake as well as one of those beautiful looking cookies. Wouldn’t you know it, every single one of them were as stale as the woman’s attitude! I don’t remember what time it was when I went in but the cupcakes were bland and tasted like they were over a day old. The fancy cookie also tasted like it was over a day old and was all sugar and no moisture. Never again.
