Baldwin Dry Cleaning & Coin Laundry

Only giving them one star because I cant give them zero.
They destroyed an expensive jacket I gave them to dry clean and the owner George was extremely rude and refused to refund my money.
When Ginny the old owner ran this place is was great. But since the new owner took over this place has turned into a dive.
Find another place to do your laundry. I’ve attached pictures to show the damage. Each picture is from a different part of the jacket that was torn. The damage was the length of both sleeves and down the jacket sides.

Going to this laundromat steadily for almost a decade and it’s fallen into such a state of disrepair and complete indifference by the new owners I’ve vowed never to return.
Same machines have sat unrepaired for months (and months!) and the owners show no interest in having them fixed. Much worse, the machines that do work are occupied by the owners doing the laundry of people who drop off their clothes. This would be fine if they want to convert the laundromat into drop-​off only, but they haven’t made the switch.
I highly recommend against using the Baldwin coin laundry. Maybe their drop-​off service is good but I’m just so disgusted by the state of disrepair and their complete disregard of customers’ concerns I will not be giving them my business.

Half of the machines are always out of order and the other half are usually filled with the laundry of the people working there (fair enough, its probably the laundry that people pay them to do but surely this should be done outside of opening hours to keep the machines free for other people — esp considering the amount that are always out of order!). The machines badly need to be replaced — some of them are actually held together by tape & we have had our clothes caught in washers that lock but stay on a spin cycle for hours and others warped by dryers that randomly get way too hot! Prices include $ 2.50 for a small wash, $ 4.50 for a medium wash, $ 5.50 for a large wash & 25c for 4 mins in the dryer — a total rip off! There is no wifi, the seating area is really grotty & uncomfortable and there is a permanent bad smell in the place. If you have any other choice, don’t go here!

Does everything as advertised. Never tried the fold & wash service though. Never have trouble getting any machines. Friendly, quiet staff. Washroom on back. Entrances on front & back. 3 sizes of wash machines.
