Description

Specialties

Balance, strengthen, and lengthen the body with moves inspired by ballet, yoga, and Pilates.

We draw from multiple influences to create innovative classes that focus on length, grace, and a healthy body.

Sadie Lincoln, barre3 founder, works closely with a team of experts including yogis, professional dancers, doctors, and athletes to craft highly efficient workouts. Focusing on a unique combination of dynamic movement and isometric holds, the sequences work strategically to transform the body and develop long term postural benefits.

History

Established in 2008.

Barre3 Is A Workout That Works for Everyone

Anyone can do this low-impact sequence and see dramatic results. It doesn’t matter if you’re 20 or 75, if you’re a turbo athlete or you haven’t worked out in years, if you have back pain or a knee injury, if you’re pregnant or just had a baby. No matter who you are, barre3 will help you lose weight, build strength, and transform your entire body.

Meet the Business Owner

Aimee O.

Business Owner

I discovered barre3 when I lived in DC for a year in 2012, «says barre3 Toronto Owner, Aimee Ostrander. «I walked by the studio in Georgetown and wandered in for my first class. I’ve never looked back! The workout was amazing and the community even better. The major bonus was that my body completely changed. I have done every workout you can think of over the years but none produced results the way barre3 has. When it was time to move back from DC, I just couldn’t imagine giving up my barre3 practice. It had become a lifestyle that I wanted to take with me and share with everyone I know. Fast forward to present day and my dream is coming true with my very own studio opening on King St. West. Amazing! This city has so much energy. I can’t wait to build a barre3 community here.»
