Some people learn how to take photographs — others are born to. It’s in their DNA.

I’m not talking about the basic rules and principles or how to set up your camera. That’s something that anyone can learn for sure. It’s more about having an eye for the world, capturing special moments that others can’t see.

I think I was 10 years old when my mom caught me stealing new film rolls from her drawer. Still remember all the excitement while I was waiting in front of the darkroom for my photos to be printed.

Creating and capturing became my life — and the funny part is — it wasn’t my decision. I’m forever grateful for the people who forced me to fight for my dreams — so now I can live them.
