Specialties

29 years of experience offering chiropractic and laser therapy treatment

for conditions of the spine (i.e. back and neck pain), joints and the musculoskeletal system.

History

Established in 1983.

Our clinic opened at the current Bloor Street West and Dundas Street West location 29 years ago. It is only steps from High Park, Roncesvalles, the Junction and the Bloor West Village. The clinic is only a short walk from the subway — at Dundas West station — and there is parking available close by.

Our patients are not just neighbours and families living near by, referrals often come even from regions outside of Greater Toronto Area. What our patients value is a straightforward explanation of their problem based on history and examination, understanding of set targets (such as pain relief or improvement in the range of movement), so they have an idea of the time and cost involved. After reaching the set goals, we believe we should guide the person towards prevention, often by teaching them suitable exercises.

We welcome you to visit our clinic, meet Dr. Munk and staff, and ask questions. You’ll be treated with attention, respect and kindness you deserve.

Meet the Business Owner

Dr. Peter M.

Business Owner

Dr. Peter is an experienced and understanding person, sympathetic to patients who more often than not come to the clinic in pain and discomfort, not in the best of moods, perhaps even anxious or frightened.

During the initial exam he explains what he finds with his skilled fingers. He is able to put you at ease and explains what the problem is and how to get it under control.

Dr. Peter graduated from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1980.

After working in a group practice, he opened at the present location in 1983. His interest in spinal injuries and painful conditions affecting the back and neck led to work with athletes and dancers, but his mainstay remains a family practice. He is genuinely proud that the clinic has become part of the community. He has taken numerous courses to keep his professional knowledge up to date.

He is married and has two grown children.
