Let me start by saying that I’m not a professional magician but I like to do magic tricks for my students. The staff at Browser’s Den of Magic are very helpful in finding items that are a) targeted for your audience b) easy to learn and master. They give demonstrations of some products but won’t tell you how the trick is done. Will go back once I’ve mastered the tricks I already bought.

Browsers Den is by far my favourite place to go! Jeff and the rest of the staff are always very friendly, helpful, and fun to visit. You never know what you’re going to get when you walk in the shop! New tricks, new jokes or new gags. It’s always a great time! Also so many amazing events, from a monthly magic meeting, to lectures through out the year, and the amazing Browsers Magic Bash that Jeff puts so much work into all year round! Jeff is very dedicated and you can tell he’s very passionate about what he does! I’ve been going to the shop for about 7 years now, and the staff has gotten to know me and the style of magic. I can trust them to recommend the next book to me,(a great selection, might I add) or the next trick I’d like to add to my repertoire. If I need something specific that isn’t at the shop right away, Jeff Pinsky is also always very quick to order it for me, and call as soon as it arrives. I have to give a HUGE thanks to the full Browsers Den team — without thier knowledge, recommendations, and help along the journey of becoming a full time magician… I would not be where I am today. Thank you for all the support through the years… See very you soon!

it’s always a nice time visiting The Browser’s Den. Watch a fun demo, buy an awesome trick, and meet everyone who’s anyone in the Toronto magic scene!

Beautiful shop and great staff; friendly, knowledgeable, a pleasure to spend time at. I’ve been a customer for years, and they have treated me right every time. They have never failed to point me in the right direction, and never sold me what I didn’t need. Jeff Pinsky is a joy to watch perform. I cannot say enough good things about this store. This is a real local treasure, and a place I always look forward to visiting.

You will be hard-pressed to find a better-run business than this one. The owner, Jeff Pinsky, knows how to build a loyal community around a niche industry. Within a few visits to the shop, the staff knew my name and always greet me at the door. Their humour is quirky, but they do their best to make you feel welcome. They are experts of what they sell and will gladly demonstrate anything you ask them to, make solid recommendations and patiently teach you how to use the tricks. Pinsky knows how to lure customers into his shop with auctions, lessons, free seminars and the monthly club gathering. Despite being a very low level myself, I immediately felt at home in his shop and I make the trek out to Bathurst & Eglinton whenever I can.

I’ve been going to Browser’s Den for over 14 years and I’ve always felt like home there. The owner, Jeff P., bought this store from former owner Len Cooper and has maintained the level of integrity and honesty since it’s inception. You’ll find that the staff actually love their job! Compared to Morrisey’s a few blocks away who really don’t care much about the customer’s best interest, Browser’s offers a wonderful environment for people of different skill levels. This store will open up a world of possibilities!
