This is not a professional company and I was fooled, so I recommend you avoid them and go elsewhere. Marcel is quick to win your business, but customer service is downhill from there. The moment he is paid, he’ll dodge all calls, text messages, and emails. He’ll claim a 10 year warranty but will give you nothing in writing and dodge being asked for it once you realize the ruse.
If you’re thinking «well, some people complain about anything», let me say:
— He started the work 2 weeks late.
— His crew left a royal mess with over 100 metal shards and debris on the property (including in gardens) even when asked to clean up, and then claimed he’d clean up the next day which is completely unacceptable given kids run around the property. It took me 1.5h to comb the property.
— His team left numerous tools behind and didn’t take certain waste with them (he had to be asked before being paid to do so).
— His team left unused metal on the roof that blew off on a windy day after he was paid. He wouldn’t even acknowledge or come see whether the piece was needed.
— His work leaked in one place, but he wouldn’t come back to fix it, so it needed duct taping by yours truly.
— All invoicing is hand written.
— There is no company email (just his wife’s) or website.
So why did I do business with him? He struck me as a nice and down to earth guy who had reasonable prices. The work quality was average, but his fictitious 10 year warranty won’t be there to protect me if it falls apart in a couple of years.
