Description

Specialties

At Camp Kirk we recognize that each child has their own unique strengths and weaknesses.

That’s why we’ve created an enriched summer experience where campers between the ages of 6 and 13 can feel safe and supported in a nurturing and non-competitive environment.

We provide special accommodations for Learning Disabilities, AD/HD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Incontinence/Enuresis, bedwetting and/or other types of exceptionalities.

Children here are free to have fun, take chances, make friends and try new activities at their own pace like martial arts, swimming, archery, crafts, wall climbing, ziplining, pottery, music, ecology and lots more.

Parents can be confident that with a very high staff to camper ratio (32 to 36), friendly well-trained staff, Camp Kirk gives a kid a place to shine.

History

Established in 1993.

Camp Kirk welcomes children from all over the world with the following exceptionalities

Your child is precious

For children with exceptionalities, a positive overnight camping experience could mean the difference between succeeding and struggling in life.

At Camp Kirk, we emphasize our campers’ strengths rather than their differences, and we strive to give them as many opportunities to shine as possible.

With a very high staff to camper ratio (32 to 36), we offer a very nurturing, supportive and non-competitive environment.
