Campus Xpress at Innis

Slightly north of the black hole that is Robarts, Campus Xpress is an oddity on the U of T campus in that almost everything is reasonably priced. It’s well stocked for a relatively small space, carrying everything from U of T clothing and travel mugs to notebooks, post-​it notes, cue cards, locks, magazines and even some books. More importantly, for my purposes at least, is that the food selection is somewhat varied compared to the Second Cups or cafeterias that litter the campus; nothing is prepared on location but they carry a basic range of sandwiches and wraps as well as small yogurt containers, granola, various meal replacement bars (healthy and otherwise), sushi, and even a box of candy bins at the back for those desiring a quick sugar rush. Almost everything is at least a dollar cheaper than at Second Cup.
What really makes me grateful for this place is the coffee. There are usually five or six self-​serve carafes of different blends (including decaf and organic) and if you bring your own travel mug it only costs 80 cents to fill up! This keeps me from bankrupting myself during the busier times of the semester, and for this I’m eternally grateful. It’s also open on weekends, which is great.
