I got a groupon that was for a hair wash, colour, and style for «$ 210 value» for $ 39.
1. this was not $ 210 worth of salon services
2. this was not even $ 39 worth of salon services.
I had to pay extra because I had longer hair. Ok that’s fair. For me she wanted to charge $ 30 extra — alright, so I was going to pay a total of $ 69 (39+30). NBD, however.
I asked for a purply/​black colour and I did not want a hair cut. She said she would then charge me for using two hair colours instead of one, so an extra $ 50. I think she could have given me some slack since she didn’t have to cut my hair, but she didnt.
Cathy left me at the sink after washing my hair for almost 30 mins, I dont know if she forgot about me or if she was busy. She then asked me to blow-​dry my own hair because she was working on an other client. I ended up styling my own hair! So at this point she didn’t cut or style my hair, she did half the work she was supposed to and still charged me that extra $ 50. I could have had way better results and a better experience and paid the same amount!
She then proceeded to take pictures of me with her phone without asking for her facebook page because she was so «impressed» with her work. Remember how I asked for purply/​black? My hair turned out the EXACT SAME colour as it was when I walked in! Maybe a shade darker (I have light-​medium brown hair). I also noticed she missed some areas as it was blotchy and she said «Oh dont worry, its ombré. Thats a style now.» LMFAO OMBRE? are you kidding me?! OMG WORST SERVICE IVE EVER HAD and trust me I’m never picky with my hair! So please save yourself and do not go here.

Booked a keratin treatment with Cathy and it didn’t work in the least. Not only that I was charged an extra $ 20. For the flat iron and $ 15. For tax. I did this treatment at home myself and got better results. I wish I had read these reviews before I bought the groupon.

The keratin treatment did not work out at all. I let my hair sit with the treatment in for 3 days and followed all instructions. I just let my hair air dry for the first time since the treatment and it’s still SO frizzy and dry and unmanageable. Such a disappointment and waste of money :(.
