Ugh. I cringe every time I go in here. The black girls are so rude. They follow you around the store. Like come on… I don’t live in Toronto so when I come here I like to stock up on things. When I ask a question they don’t know what I’m talking about. This black girl recommended me a face mask which I told her I’m acne prone skin and I used it and it burned my face. Gave it another shot and it still burns. Please hire people who know what they’re talking about. Plus they just stare at you. And look and play with their hair. So cringeworthy.

This place has a big selection of almost everything to do with hair, however I’m a bit weary of some of the practices of blatant racism I’ve noticed at all of these locations. Although most of people that shop at these stores are black women, it seems the owners who are Koreans don’t allow the young black women who they hire practically as «the help» to handle or use the cash registers (makes me cringe). Also, I hate the fact that there is usually an Asian man standing on an elevated stool watching over customers as if they are criminals.
That is exploitation at its best. People who shop at these places are paying to be exploited. I recently learned that very few businesses that market specifically towards black women are black owned. A black woman who owns a hair store also told me that the Korean businesses do not invite blacks to trade shows and because Koreans have direct contact with hair suppliers they get the products at a ridiculously inexpensive rate and then make an huge profit from black women’s hard earned money. The last time I bought anything from Clore was last October and I would never shop there again. There was a young Asian woman around the counter who I practically had to beg to help me find something. She rolled her eyes as though I was bothering her. I can’t in good conscience pay my money to people who have contributed ZERO to the black community are so incredibly racist.

I usually go to this store if I want to purchase hair extensions, relaxers or any hair care products. The selection in haircare products at this location are great. There are many options to choose from and they are reasonably priced. I find the hair extension selection at this store isn’t the greatest because they are usually sold out of a lot of the braiding hair or weave that I like to purchase so I usually go in there and keep my fingers crossed that they have what I want. I find the staff to be ok. Some ask if you would like some help. Some don’t. Not really a big deal to me because 95% of the time I know what I am going there for and don’t really need help. The reason I wanted to write this review is because I recently ordered online from this company and I must say I am very pleased with the service that I received. The product that I wanted was out of stock (just my luck), but I was contacted by phone and they offered me a similar product that satisfied my needs. The man that called me was very professional and helpful. The shipping was really fast. I placed my order Thursday night at 11pm (so it wasn’t processed until Friday) and I received my package Wednesday morning. I’m sure I would have received it a day or so earlier if the product wasn’t out of stock and the order had to be changed. I will definitely be ordering from this company again!

I was thinking of getting hair extensions for a different look, so I went to Clore’s Beauty Supplies to find hair. I just was driving by and I saw this big sign that caught my eye. Oh my this place is enormous! There is soo many hair extensions. Such a huge selection. There seemed to be people on the floor I just had to look for them because the place was so big. Eventually I found someone and they were able to help me choose my hair extensions. When I went to pay I was surprised to find I can get air miles points which is a huge plus, I didnt expect that. They gave me free stuff too. I spent a lot. Im not sure if its the best., but I found what I was looking for.
