I had lunch at Huh Ga Né in the same plaza, and saw that this place was advertising homemade ice cream, so I went to check. Turns out it was gelato. This fine food mart is cute. It’s more like a Korean convenience store(mostly food) than it is a fine foods store, but that’s alright. Upon entering, there’s gimbap and soy sauce eggs and stuff. They have a plethora of cup noodles for you to choose from(+$ 0.99 if you want them to cook it for you). There’s also plenty of snack foods. At the back, they have a small gelato bar(10 –15 or so flavors) and a cooked food bar. Gelato starts at $ 3.99 for a small(includes one topping). Toppings are contained in large ice cream cups with lids? Something like that. Couldn’t really see what was in them though. I had one of their tirimisu gelato specials(prepackaged. $ 2.99). It came with a sprinkle of cocoa powder on the top, for some added visual appeal. Taste-wise, it was almost like butterscotch mocha, but not strong at all. It also wasn’t as creamy as gelatos I’m used to. It’s okay, but it isn’t great. Side note: They have daily $ 5 hot meal deals. If I’m in the area, I might come try them.

This take-out restaurant has unique Korean style burgers as well as conventional ones. This store is a combination of convenience store, fast food take out and gelato shop. They make everything to order so service time can be longer than you would want but cooked fresh. They are not very busy but have a steady amount of customers. I ordered the bulgogi burger combo($ 10~). The bun is a little larger than a regular burger. I would have liked a little more meat but it tasted good. The server forgot I ordered a combo so it took longer to get the fries ready. The fries were similar to Costco fries. Thick, crispy but there’s not that much. For $ 10 I think I would get more value ordering a bulgogi rice dish. You would get more meat but it’s not surprising they would put a price on this unique fusion idea. I would recommend just getting the burger though
