The flowers for our wedding were absolutely perfect, we don’t know what we would’ve done without Amber and her team!
My husband and I began our search for a florist about a year before our wedding date and decided, despite the advice of our wedding planner, to just go with a family friend.
As the wedding day approached we began to realize we absolutely needed a professional florist. Our lax approach to florals quickly turned into a nightmare, we were two weeks away from the big day and had to tell the family friend that it just wasn’t working out.
Thankfully, our wedding planner connected us with Amber who was able to squeeze us into her busy fall schedule. We loved the first sample images she sent over and knew, right away that our day would be saved! Amber was so professional and replied to emails right away. We were stressed enough as it was and she made this process a lot easier for us.
Walking in to our ceremony space and reception room for the first time took my breath away. Amber and her team went above and beyond, I knew everything would look great I just had no idea how great! We received so many compliments and guests were practically fighting over who got to take the centre piece home!

Our engagement was fairly long (2.5 years) and they were the first vendor that we booked. I initially met Amber with only one inspiration picture of a bouquet, and it was thanks to this meeting that the entire vision for the wedding was born. She expertly listened to my likes and dislikes and within minutes had drawn up a plan that felt as if she had climbed into my head, made sense of my jumbled vision and printed it out on a paper.
On top of that, she did it all while keeping our budget in mind. Even when I came to her a month before the wedding with the idea for a big hanging installation over the head table, I was met with eagerness and willingness to make it happen while keeping costs in mind. I am not from Toronto and nor am I familiar with any of the florists in the area. I wanted to send an arrangement of flowers to my friends for their first wedding anniversary. I told each of the florists I contacted that I was looking to have a custom arrangement made that was to be inspired by the bride’s bouquet on her wedding day. I sent a photo along with a description of the various flowers in the bouquet. While some florists argued with me over the types of flowers used, others straight up told me «No, just pick something from our website.»
I was very happy when Cool Green & Shady quickly got back to me and how delighted they were to work with me. They made the process painless, and were able to take my idea and make it into a reality.
After receiving their flowers, my friends sent me pictures of their arrangement, and it looked identical to her wedding bouquet, and it was exactly what I had imagined it turning out to be. Cool Green & Shady brought the bride back in time to her wedding day, something I doubt an average anniversary arrangement could achieve. Thank you again, so, so much.

Flowers are what I buy when I am in trouble. and anyone who knows me knows that I cannot keep my feet out of my mouth. SO, everytime i have needed to patch things up or celebrate my wonderful GF, these guys have been stellar. especially around delivery times. great product, and very friendly. they are a bit more than the average florist, but, the service, quality and all that are well worth it.

They totally understood my vision, and matched it perfectly. Amber also made very helpful suggestions for some aspects which I wasn’t sure about — such as flowers to scatter on tables, and ceremony decorations. Everything was great and the flowers were perfect!
Amber totally worked within our budget and made suggestions about how we could get the look we wanted at the price we wanted.
We’ve been lucky enough to receive a bouquet delivery as well — and it was gorgeous as well. We’ve sent a few bouquets since the wedding, and were surprised to hear about the delivery charges. $ 16 to Burlington, and $ 10 to West Scarborough. Also — get your order in early or it won’t go until the next day. But you can be assured when the recipient gets their flowers, they will love them!
