Great for tune-ups — DONOT buy a bike from this store. I’ve trusted these guys for over 8 years to take care of my various bikes but, after buying a bike from them in 2014, I suggest looking elsewhere to make a purchase. I had a minor frame issue since Day 1 and have experienced nothing short of a Monty Python Parrot Sketch level of service since. In the last 10 months, I have been in multiple times, had them take photos of my bike, left multiple messages for their warranty guy and sent a number of emails — I have yet to get a single response despite being told each time that the issue would be dealt with the following week. If you want to get a solid tune-up or repair, go here. If you want to buy a bike, I suggest Duke’s, Cycle Motive, Sweet Pete’s or Urbane Cycle, not here.

Great bunch of guys who all ride and know their stuff. Though not the closest to home I’ve come to make Cycle Solutions my «go to» bike shop as their service has been much better than any other local shop. A few key points: They have always offered a cheaper solution to whatever«fix» I’m looking for instead of the easiest way of outright replacing a part first. It’s nice to see a shop go out of their way to keep a few needed bucks in my pocket. They all seem to go out of their way no matter how busy they are to help out and find what you’re looking for AND in a price range you want. Just the other day I was buying stuff and a man came in with a rusted POS bike that obviously needed everything. They cannibalized an old bike they had for parts to get him rolling for cheap. Seriously who does this these days? Most importantly they’ve never pretended to know about something they’re not familiar with. The words«I don’t know, let me find that out for you» is actually a massive incentive to shop there over a place that always has the answers right or wrong. Did I mention the awesome selection of bikes there? They range from entry level to ones that I drool over and would likely need a second mortgage on my house to ride around on. Anyway, they’ve been great and deserved a plug here.

I have 1) bought a chariot or trailer for the back of my bike that carries 2 children under 6 at this store(Burley brand) and the craftsmanship is great on it. Way sturdier than one you might buy at Canandian Tire or someplace. But it was $ 500.00 + tax. I 2) needed a basic tune up after the long Canadian winter and that was $ 50.00. The tune up was great, and service is great but I do get a vague sense that when I roll my Canadian Tire bike in, I am getting eye rolls or something behind my back. They sell professional racing bikes there and other bikes that are commonly $ 500 to $ 2000.00 in there. So I guess I’m like a peasant patronizing their store.(By patronizing I mean being a patron). EXPENSIVESTORE.

Went in to buy a bike for my daughter and even they were setting up for an event(grand reopening), Nelson(the owner) was nice enough to spend time to discuss with me options for my daughter and even offer a loaner bike while we wait for the special order. Everyone was friendly and made me feel I should have bought MY bike from here. Pre order the bike and should be coming soon… ill keep you up to date how further customer service is but so far no buyers remorse and happy I dropped by.

The guys in this shop know their stuff. You’ll find all that you need here for your cycling needs. The tune up service is arguably the best around town, with the amazing mechanics Mike and Andrew M.

He got her done! I went in requesting baskets, first I felt a little rushed by the sale’s guy but he got her done and installed them.

Great service. Arrived near closing time with my daughter’s bike and a flat tire expecting to get it back in 24 hours but they fixed the flat pronto and made minor adjustments. My bike and hers were bought here. Great shop!

Helpful and competent staff always ready to help. Have had my bike tuned up here several years, as well as got it ready for my first triathlon. Not the cheapest place around in terms of bike prices, but their selection is top notch.

since there seem to be so few reviews… i went here to get a lock and it was overall a pleasant, helpful experience. the guy that was primarily helping me seemed to be a straight-shooter(told me he thought my bike pirates bike was nothing near the $ 120 they charged) and didn’t try to upsell me locks for my(apparently sh*tty) bike. i asked to see a few more things and he was very honest, very helpful. got a bike rack installed, and they did it on the spot. he offered me a used one for $ 10(and then a $ 5 labor charge) and installed a new seat for me right away too. all the guys were friendly and just chatty enough. overall, a very pleasant experience.

«The Best There Is, Was, and Ever Will Be» was the title given to the Bret Hart story released in 2005. It also succinctly sums it all up when referencing Cycle Solutions. I purchased a Norco Hybrid here last spring and was amazed at the quality of service and the overall knowledge displayed by their staff continues to wow me. These people live and breathe bikes and are more than happy to impart their vast collective wisdom on those wishing to drink from the deep well of cycling knowledge. They take the time to explain the subtle differences between makes and models, tire sizes, braking mechanisms(my bike has disc brakes)… and are truly there for you. Sales staff ask probing questions and do an incredible job of matching bike to owner. Solution based selling at its finest. I brought my bike back on two occasions for minor tuneups and on each visit I was whisked in and and out in under 30 minutes. Can anyone say same day service-appointments aren’t necessary here. Great displays, easily accessible location, friendly and knowledgeable staff and speedy service. You will not steer astray when purchasing with Cycle Solutions.
