This is a fairly average fruit market and grocery. There are better spots in the area, such as Bloorcourt Village Market, but this is the closest market to my house so I’m a frequent visitor. Prices are reasonable, selection is decent, and the family that runs the place is cool. Up front, and outside in the warm weather, is a selection of fruits, vegetables, and flowers. The middle of the store houses the bread and dairy. And, in back, are all the grocery items. This is a pretty small place so the selection is understandably limited but they have most standard stuff: sugar, flour, lettuce, tomatoes, apple, orange, milk, eggs, butter, and so on. Sometimes the produce looks a little forlorn, but it’s usually pretty good, especially by the standards of a small corner market. Worth a look if you live in the Bloor and Ossington area and want a place to grab last minute grocery items.
