I loved this place before, but not anymore. if you ask for something a bit different they can’t do it! as soon as you become their Regular Customer they don’t really put that much of time and care on your nails! I’m not coming back anymore!

After my bad experience at Susan Nail Spa I was glad to have found this place. My friend who lives close by recommended it and it was totally worth it. It’s cheaper than the other place I used to go to with better service.
Since I’ve started my new job I worship Shellac. To not have to get your nails done for two weeks and to have them stay on perfectly whether you cook or wash stuff, that’s awesome! This place has a lot of colour options for Shellac and they provide really good service. I made an appointment and was not kept waiting. They were quick about their work and very clean as well. They lady (I forgot her name) did a great job with my eyebrows too.
I’ll definitely be coming back :)

The store is always packed but it’s never a problem to walk-​in, waiting time was minimal. I did my biogel somewhere else and I needed them to be removed… the lady really took her time to remove my biogel and she did an amazing job with my Shellac after. Happy I found this place!
The store might look a little dingy from the outside, but you’d be surprised how clean the store actually is… the tools and everything are sanitized after each use (unlike a lot of other places)…
I would recommend this salon if you live around the area!

This place has always been a hit and miss for me. So I like to go a few times to a place before making a final review on it.
The first few times, I was pretty content with the workmanship. The girls there are super nice (I’ve changed my mind a few times as they’re applying the polished and they didn’t roll their eyes when I regretted the colour and wanted to change it) and the colour selection is there, they have a decent range of colours and brands.
But, as I started going with some friends who went to school for aesthetics I started noticing the flaws. The application isn’t as even as I thought (this has happened quite a few times now), they’re pretty aggressive when it comes to pedicures (they’ve clipped a bit too much a few times), and the longevity just isn’t there.
Overall, I’d give this place a solid 3.5. My relationship with this salon is like you and that friend that you don’t really want to hang out with because of whatever reason, but you don’t know how to let them go. For now, I’m going to try out other places and I’ll see how it goes.

Wonderful experience. Called a few minutes before I wanted to come to book a pedicure. When I walked in the offered a manicure as well. Because I had limited time I didn’t think I had time for both. They were amazing. They offered to have two ladies work on my nails at the same time to get me out on time. Really appreciated it.
Salon is clean, quiet. The technicians spend the time to give me an exceptional manicure and pedicure.
Looking forward to going back.

Came with a friend and didn’t have an appointment booked, but were both promptly served. Fast and quality manicure, and the staff had no complaints even though I had a previous shellac mani that needed to be removed. Staff don’t speak English very well but are very friendly. $ 20 regular mani pre tip, which was a pretty good deal given the quality!

Very professional/​good price/​awesome nail technicians! I was very impressed by their service because I was so disappointed by other Chinese owned places in this area. But I Highly recommend Daisy nails!

They do a good job on pedicures. The place is nice and clean, though the air is heavy with the smell of chemicals. For this, I subtract a star.
What upset me, however, was the bikini wax. The technician did not want to wear gloves, even though I asked her about it. She said she knew she was supposed to but didn’t want to. She was using her bare hands to touch my skin, including parts that she was waxing. She also reused the stick the entire time. She then proceeded to use what seemed to be unsanitized tweezers to pull out stray hairs, but I stopped her from doing so. No aloe vera was provided after.
A lot of nail salons engage in these types of wax practices and its absolutely unacceptable. Will not be returning.

Love it here! Helen always does my nails. She’s a sweetheart and is good at what she does.
The place is neat and clean and big. Lots of polish options. The price is a little bit more than most but it’s North York.
Easy to go as a walk in or appointment.

Went back again to give them a second redeeming chance. The wait was not as long and the staff seemed more attentive.
However, I wouldn’t say the quality was all that great. I was cut and bled (which happens, and it’s not that big a deal), but my problem was lack of attention to details. The ends of my nails are not smooth, you can feel the little pieces on then. Plus, there is polish on my skin. Why did they not wipe it off? Who knows. I didn’t notice until they were dry, but the girl painting then should have.
Anyways, will probably only go back for a manicure. Might for a pedicure because my quality standards for my toes are much lower.
If I could give half stars, I’d give 2.5.

I came here for a year and a half. The service was always super great! I came once every three weeks for a fill and a wax.
Helen is an amazing waxer it barely hurts. I really appreciate the work she does.
Helen also did my bio gel fill she got to know me pretty well. I really liked her work she took pride in it and always did a good job.
I moved about 45mins away so it will be tough to go back. But I would for their service! I totally reccomend Helen and her team.

Great manicure, friendly staff and lots of colour choices. Unfortunately parking is a problem, and the staff even has a nice sign posted to remind you.

What a gem! It was my first time on Mother’s Day. Definitely won’t be the last. What makes this place stands out from other vietnamese nail salon is their technicians are polite and not talking to each other or joking around while working on a customer. I found that annoying at most of the nail salons i’ve ever been too.

Good price and location, gets pretty busy on the weekends so I would recommend making a reservation.
I got a shallac «color change» for $ 20 which was pretty much a regular manicure without getting your cuticle cut. They did a good job on my nails and was pretty speedy.
Only complaint is the ladies seemed a little distracted when more customers came in and stopped their work to talk to each other I guess to figure out who was going to help them? The lady doing my nails asked if she could go assist another customer while she was in the process of removing my previous shallac since «we had to wait for your nails to soak anyways». This wasn’t the case since it had been soaking for quite sometime and was ready to b e removed. i told her no and wanted my service to be done first and she was nice about it and did a decent job on my nails.

Lovely experience!!! Parking in the back, it’s charged by half an hour. Give yourself A LEAST an hour if you’re getting shellac.
I got shellac and I have horrible nails and they’re a pretty ugly shape but they grew and I decided to take advantage. So I went here and got a manicure plus shellac. 25 dollars plus tax was such a good deal. She spent a bit over an hour on me and she was so cute and sweet! All the girls were. I kinda wanna work here…
Anyway, two weeks later and my nails haven’t bent, chipped, broken or faded one bit! Going back asap to get this re-​done.

Daisy nails and spa is conveniently located south west of Yonge and Finch.
Appointments are welcomed and there is parking available behind the building.
Even though English is not their first language these ladies will understand most of your requests. The spa is not fancy but its more than a sweatshop. These girls actually seem interested in getting to know you and will remember your name after a few visits.
Their prices are very reasonable and their work is great. They offer waxing, threading, manis, pedis, gel nails and shellac.

The only weakness this place has is punctuality. Even with an appointment you might be served 10 – 20 minutes late. But it’s explainable. They won’t let you leave if you’re not satisfied.

4.5 !! Things have changed around here ! I’ve been back two times since my first 2 star visit. The ladies are excellent and really take their time making sure everything’s perfect. Honestly it reminds me of Nail Sense here except they don’t play movies (just cp24). I like that they are clean with their tools (new package). I only come here for the spa pedi as it’s $ 25. Great deal ! Tried manicure here for an added $ 10 and it looked great too.
All the massage chairs work now ^^ Walk-​ins seem to be better when it’s close to or slightly after 5pm on weekdays. It can get busy around 6pm.

Love getting my pedicures here! I’ve been here at least 4 times in the last year and I’ve had excellent pedicures each time, and each time done by a different person. They are all so attentive and patient. They really do a great job making sure that your feet are taken care of. I’ve received many compliments on my nails.
The price is great compared to most places, $ 25 for a spa pedi! They use the popular nail polish brands, including OPI and Essie. I usually just walk in but I have, on occasion, booked appointments and they are usually available for when I request them. I have walked in on a Saturday early afternoon and have booked appointments (the day before) for after 6 or 7pm on a weekday. They have 4 – 5 manicure stations and at least 5 – 6 pedicure stations, as far as I could remember.
I recommended this place to a couple of friends and they loved it too. I want to try their other services one day, but this is definitely my go-​to place for pedis!
Only issue is that there is limited parking available on the street. You may have to park on a small street near by. However, if you live close enough to walk over there, then you won’t have a problem!

I was in serious need to have a mani and pedi. Since I moved from Markham I hadn’t been going for my usual bi-​weekly pamper. Reason being the distance was the main problem. The other day I said enough is enough and decided it’s time to do something for me! That’s when I got on my handy dandy Unilocal website and looked up nail salons in my new area. I decided to go for the top one on the site which was only a short block away.
I was glad I did. I didn’t call I just walked in. They greeted me with a warm hello and asked what was I looking to have done, I told the lady and began to choose my nail colours from the back wall. When the lady saw the direction I was heading in my colours she took me to the new arrivals. This is where I chose an awesome orange great for spring.
The service was above to what I expected. My nails were shaped to perfection. My eyebrows are looking the nest I have ever seen them done. When the finished they took me to the drying station where I was offered a lovely cold glass of water.
