Damarys A.

Business Owner

Damarys is an accomplished performer, choreographer and dance instructor whose passion for dance and fitness started at the age of 7.

Formally trained in Cuba, Damarys graduated from the Dance School of Havana before beginning work, first as a dancer, then, In 2003 as a choreographer for two of the biggest resorts in Cuba; Tryp Hotels and NH Krystal in Cayo Coco.

Parallel to her career as a dancer and choreographer Damarys worked as a singer for corporate shows and hosted shows for kids. She is presently a member of Mambo Dream Team dance troupe and also perform with her dance partner Rafael Steyners from Sole in Motion.

Damarys teaches a variety of dance styles such as Zumba, Sexy Hip Hop, Chair Dance, Burlesque, Salsa, Latin Rhythms, Afrocuban and Modern Dance. She also trains semi-​professional dance troupes for performing purposes.

Damarys founded DAMI DANCE in 2009 to help people achieve their dreams, get fit, feel better and have fun.
