Oh, these girls working here are amazing! I received excellent customer service during the busiest time around Christmas. They were super helpful and knowledgeable. Very friendly and easy to talk to. Their store is pretty small but they had many products to choose from and those teas — are just the best, of course. Will be coming back very soon. One of my favorite Davids Tea’s location.

I like David’s Tea a lot, they do a lot of promotions like this week is buy one get one free with a friend. They have a rewards card as well. This location is great for me as it is located in my building and the staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The only reason I withhold that extra star is because I like the way Teavana steeps the tea rather then use a bag. I find the flavour is better when done at Teavana and ultimately I don’t want to be responsible for accurate timing!

This place is great! I bought four teas for a birthday celebration and not only did they write«Happy Birthday» on one of the cups, they gave me one for free. I see more birthday teas in the future!

If I could give the staff at this location more than 5 stars, I would. Working through an exhausting day, I trudged across the PATH to DT’s only to be attended on by two sweet girls who comped my tea after taking one look at my world, weary visage. While I am a David’s Tea regular, I didn’t really frequent this location so for them to have provided me with such great service was even more awesome. Suffice it to say, they have got themselves a regular tea drinker!

If I could give this location 10 out of 5 I would. I have experienced not-so-good customer service and listening to employees gossip about customer infront of other customers which made me never return to the store itself but to shop online. I bought a pink bodum online and the lip hung so it always would leak. I’ve been holding off returning it because I just didn’t want to go into the store again. I finally brought my bodum to work to return it to davidstea downtown. Carrie helped me and she was absolutely exceptional. She was friendly, patient and extremely kind. I was able to exchange my bodum for a pink timolino. She gave me time to think about what I wanted(geez I can be so indecisive) and I asked some questions about teapop which I saw on Instagram. Carrie explained everything to me, she was very very helpful and kind. I’m so happy I found this location and will be a frequent flyer here. THANKYOUCARRIEFORMAKINGMYEXPERIENCEPOSITIVE! I hope that you see this because you’re doing a great job!

Cold season in Toronto this is the place to come for that warming cuppa and the one to get is called — 911 Tea It is not a lemon yummy feel good tea, this is a tea that will kick your immune system into shape pronto. So if you are a wussy tea drinker that never ventures out of the Moroccan Mint box this may not be for you. However if you are an adventurous tea drinker with the understanding that tea’s have many benefits including medicinal in nature… this is perfect for those days you need a balanced immune kick It is a great tea for anyone coming down with or who has a bit of a cold or feeling a tad run-down. I like David’s tea much better than Teaopia(I used to go to Teaopia back in the day)…until David’s opened up… Reason is: Davids keeps the teabag in the tea(loose leaf) so you can go back to the office keep the bag in the tea and top up with hot water and your 911 tea can last you the afternoon(excellent value). There are excellent Summer tea’s. Coconut is a good one in the summer. There are so man great tea’s though, too numerous to really mention that I say just ask for a taste of their daily tea’s and you will soon be manouvering yourself towards those that resonate with how you feel that day. Busy busy busy with the office crowd in the Financial buildings, but the staff somehow manage to get through everyone at a reasonable rate with a smile and a bit of friendly banter to boot. So it’s not a rushed«next» type of place… it offers customer friendly service and the ladies there are always willing to offer tea suggestions.

It was hard finding this location but I got some help from a handsome gentleman outside of the BMO building as well as a cab driver! It’s always a good time at David’s Tea. The staff are always accommodating, caring, and knowledgeable! I believe it was Ian who helped me the last time I was here and I was at ease while being helped. He knew what he was talking about and was just sociable. This location is small but busy as well. My favorite kinds of tea so far; Coconut grove Red velvet Birthday cake Jessie’s Tea Fantasy Island

David’s Tea is great! Best tea in Canada. And this location is friendly and welcoming. Don’t expect Starbucks speed service, as they spend time with each customer and everyone in there is a tea fan. Love it.

I’m a bona fide tea addict and David’s Tea is fantastic! I tried the Forever Nuts and was sold. I bought and tried many teas but theirs is very unique – possibly the best but with additional flavoring which accounts for it. I returned to NY today but not without taking some home — Stormy Night, Forever Nuts and Movie Night. I cannot wait to try the other two. A great consolation is that David’s Tea has several locations in NYC. I will become a member of their club.

This David’s Tea location is inside First Canadian Place, tucked away in the food court on the concourse level. I had difficulty finding it at first but if you can find all the cupcake shops, you’ll find David’s Tea in their company. I was looking for a gift of tea for my boyfriend’s mom and David’s Tea had been recommended to me before so I figured I would try it out. However, knowing it was Christmas and that I was looking for a specific gift box, Caffeine Free Teas, I thought ahead and called two stores. One, up on Church, was sold out, but this location in FCP had it in stock and offered to put it on hold for me. On the left side of the store is the cashier’s bar and along he back wall are TONS of tins of loose leaf teas. You can order individual amounts of tea or I think you can combine teas… very neat. The right side has all kinds of tea accessories, pots, mugs, filters, etc. Again, the store was pretty small and packed so I didn’t get a great look but they have everything you could ever need if you enjoy tea. This store is VERY small and was fairly busy when I arrived. I’d never been in a David’s tea so I was definitely overwhelmed walking in. The size of the store and it being busy made it difficult for me to actually look around and take everything in considering it was a stop-off on my way elsewhere. There were lots of staff though and upon seeing a bewildered me walk in, one of the ladies out on the floor approached me and asked if she could help. I told her I had something on hold and she brought me to the front of the line and went to look for it. After a bit, the girl found my reserved gift box and brought it to the front counter. I grabbed some self-fill filters as well, paid and I was off. Overall, this is a hidden gem in FCP if you’re a tea lover or if you know one. The selection is rather large, this location seems to carry all the products on the website and the staff was pleasant on the phone and in person. I’m sure if I had gone in without a clue, they would have been able to help me find an appropriate gift.

I love David’s Tea. It’s a nice alternative to java, which I drink way too much of in a day. It’s M A D busy during the weekday at one o’clock. Be prepared to wait; if you have less than five minutes to spare, I would recommend that you skip having tea or suck it up and wait. I had to wait in line for my tea latte; the wait wasn’t long, but it wasn’t too short as well. The staff here are so friendly and efficient. As soon as I ordered my drink, it was ready and off I went. A solid four star.

actually the ppl who work here are super and customer service is a priority. i dont go as often after buying a tin of matcha and, quite frankly, miss the smiling faces of these kids. more interesting is the fact that matcha should contain the warning: WARNINGCANCAUSEDISCOLOURATIONOFTEETH. i know bc i drank too much matcha and my teeth because discoloured. Luckily, i’ve seen my hygienist since then. she took care of things and now i can smile again. so i’m drinking the matcha in moderation now, rarely more than one cup a day. and when my tin runs out, i’ll be back here buying more. In summary: DT is great and so are the peeps who work here. I feel bad that i was so harsh in my earlier review. i hope they forgive me. ******MYEARLIERSINGLE-STARREVIEW **************** I love the matcha tea though, quite frankly, it is a bit fishy tasting. i wish they would sell the grand cru by the cup but they dont. anyway, i line up today to buy my cup of incredibly satisfying but a little bit fishy-tasting cup of matcha. i line up and i wait. i wait some more then i go over to naturally yours to buy a chocalete bar, talk to Bob and rejoin the line. Not that i was dying to talk to Bob but i’m not sure how much choice i have in the matter. to make a long story short, i go back to DT, the line is a bit longer and when i go to another cash register(ignoring the lined-up plebs) i’m completely ignored. i guess that was ok that i was ignored. and though i wish they would sell grand cru by the cup – that’s probably ok too. what really bothers me is that none of the staff thought to start operating another cash. the lineup scenario is totally unclear unlike Sbucks where it is double or triple registered and incredibly clear. and were these people waiting for hot water and a tea leaves? When they could have matcha? it felt like i just lost half a lifetime. F

I was thrilled to see this shop open in FCP. With winter(ugh) fast approaching, the craving for teas is strong. First off, the décor is sleek, streamlined and reminiscent of a modern alchemist’s shop, metal tins, bright labels, white walls and helpful staff at the ready to mix their tea potions. Oh and let’s not forget the tea accessories, various pots for brewing, tea cups, thermometers, tea pouches… love, love, love! I tried the Buttered Rum(toasted coconut and vanilla) on my first trip and it was love at first sip! I bought some for home and have been enjoying it ever since. Now, there are still some 120 more teas to sample from their menu, so that should have me covered until summer returns. Since then, I’ve tried Checkmate(a black tea/chamomile/coconut blend that actually tastes like chocolate) and their Super Chocolate(cinnamon, cocoa nibs with green rooibos and green tea)…see a trend here? Anyway, I’ll be back there today to try another delicous concoction… Jumpy Monkey!

David’s Tea has opened in the newly renovated First Canadian Place. This store is very nice: brightly lit with bright colours. It’s a nice alternative to the plethora of coffee shops nearby. I like to pine over the assortment of tea accessories though some are just too pretty to decorate my drab cubicle desk. I’ve always enjoyed David’s Tea for their product so it’s nice to grab a delicious tea to-go or pick up a little bag of loose leaf. Their maté selection is good and have been a godsend for the days when even an espresso won’t do.
