Description

Specialties

Dog Tired Toronto is a small community based dog walking business that offers every client and their furry best friend the best possible care during our high-energy off-leash outings at local dog beaches and dog parks. All parks are completely fenced in giving your pooch the freedom to run free and happy while burning energy and being safe!

We understand that your dog is your family member and should be treated with care and love. We are fully insured and licensed with Pet Sitters International.

We walk everyday rain or shine (even snowstorms)! Our walks are 90 minutes, include high energy stimulation, socializing with other dogs and building trust with our pack mates. Most of all they are super fun! You can see the difference in your dog’s behavior.

RUN. MEET. PLAY.

History

Established in 2012.

Craig Harrietha, Owner of Dog Tired Toronto

«I have had dogs my whole life. I love their young spirit and unconditionally loving nature. They have a way of reminding us about life’s simple pleasures. It wasn’t until I had adopted two dogs from a dive shop in Roatan, Honduras that my life really changed. These dogs became my life. I had been spending hours everyday at the off-leash parks downtown teaching and playing with my dogs. Soon friends and neighbours asked me to take their dogs.

After working long hours bartending and as a firefighter, I decided to partner up and create a dog walking business in 2009 called Soul Mutts. Then the fun really started! Taking care of other dogs along with your own is like bringing your kids and their best friends to the park to have nothing but an awesome time!

I ventured off on my own and started Dog Tired in San Diego, California and now I have returned to open the second chapter here in my home town of Toronto.»

Meet the Manager

Calypso Timon H.

Manager

Calypso and Timon were both born in Honduras at a dive shop on the island of Roatan in 2009. Although brother and sister, they have had very different beginnings to their lives.

Calypso came to Toronto at 12 weeks old. She is a tough chick and loves all dogs big & small. You can always count on her to keep the young pups in check when they get way too excited for their own good. She is extremely smart and can overcome any obstacle.

Timon, was brought home a year after Calypso. He was being taken care of by a local family. When I had gone back to visit the dive shop, Timon ran right up to me, as if to say ‘take me with you’. He was in rough shape; being under fed, covered in ticks and fleas & bullet wound in the back leg from locals. I needed to help him. I paid the family and brought him home to be reunited with his sis, Calypso. Timon is an extremely loyal dog and most times he is goofy and or the energizer of the pack.

Timon & Calypso are assistant packleaders!
