This is a great bar. The people are friendly and the patio is great for sitting out on a warm day. In the winter it is cozy inside and the coffee is hot.

I wouldn’t eat here. The guy they have cooking often walks food through the garbage area in the building with food. That’s gross. I wouldn’t want to get sick. Just putting out there because I’ve seen him. Probably not following food handling code by doing that. Pretty gross. That having been said, the coffee is ok and the staff are nice. Probably ok to enjoy the patio and have a few drinks. Just no food.

Tried the daily Versace coffee with baileys. BEST! Wish I lived closer to this joint, would be here on the daily.

Love this patio. Great neighbourhood bar. One of the only patios in the city where I can bring my dog and she can sit on the patio with me. Very casual laid back.

One of my new favourite bars in the East End. It’s essentially a coffee shops meets bar. The best part about it is the ginormous patio which is really rare to find in the city. And then when you find yourself quite intoxicated at 2am on the weekend here… you find yourself drifting towards muffins. Smart.

Coffee shop open til midnight! Also, this is a great neighbourhood bar. Very laid back and relaxed. It’s also a great coffeeshop that’s open late! The bartender was very friendly and extremely helpful. A group of us were working til closing(midnight) on our laptops right alongside others who were drinking beer. The patio is awesome in the summer!

Have been a few times(I live across the street) with mixed experiences. Baristas way too focused on the television, have had to leave without a lid on my coffee numerous times as they’ve run out and the coffee is *scorching*. Trust me, I LOVE coffee and I love it even more when it’s *hot*… but the heat level of their Americanos is pretty insane. That being said, the express coffee is a great grab and go for $ 2 and is perfect in the heat department. I’m rooting for these folks though! Hope they kick it up a notch :)

Also a great place for coffee in a mini-treed oasis patio on a rather industrial corner.

This corner is going to be hopping in a couple years. One major condo project done and another going up. And this is going to be the greatest patio in the hood. Just far enough away from Queen street so a patio of this size can exist, but close enough you can get off a street car and walk to it. By day, this a coffee shop. Love the authentic TTC fare box for self serve, self pay coffee. Throw in a toonie, pump your coffee, and get on with your life. At night or after work, you can enjoy craft taps or bottles. As well, Dundas and Carlaw has quickly established itself as the go to place for the Great Canadian Caesar. Oh another great thing about the patio is there’s a great mix of «patio styles». Want to be the center of attention? There’s a table for that? Want to enjoy a patio but be tucked away? Some conveniently placed planter boxes and trees hide you from the worse of the world. Service is fast, professional. Customers are 20somethings looking for a their ideal neighborhood patio. I was also surprised at how much free easy street parking can be found in this area.

The interior is nice, the mocha that I had came with a beautiful heart design, and the baristas were very patient and funny.

I like the cozy interior & open space patio. Can grab a coffee in the morning & drinks after work. Great hangout place in Leslieville with free wifi!
