Eglinton Dance Academy is North Toronto’s destination for quality movement training. From our unique approach to nurturing an early love of dance in our Creative Movement classes, to developing a strong and healthy dancer in our graded Cecchetti program, Eglinton Dance Academy believes in a training syllabus that is safe, effective and professional, but also encourages passion and artistry. Our goal is to be a great part of growing up. Learning an art form like dance extends so much further than the studio. It demands focus, discipline and determination – all important qualities your child will carry with them throughout their life. But we recognize a balance must be met to keep them coming back! That’s why we ensure that in every class, and each student, learns what it means to also feel creative, proud and most of all, accomplished.

Meet the Business Owner

Chelsea C.

Business Owner

Chelsea has been dancing since childhood, with a particular interest in ballet. Drawn to teaching from an early age, she set her focus on attaining education and experience to pass along her love of movement. Chelsea has assisted and taught ballet and contemporary classes throughout southern Ontario to students of all ages. Her passion for dance has taken her to the Royal Winnipeg Ballet Schools’ Summer Teacher Training Program, teacher examinations with the Cecchetti Council of America, partnering to open a ballet school in Sarnia, Ontario, and stage managing for a competitive dance company.
