An impeccable decoration where playing good tunes seemed a death-​life treat; a really smart separation of spaces that gives a spa kind of feeling: privacy, cozyness, trendyness and modern accents in the lounge that create a VIP feeling.
Going there was a treat for all my senses. From the warm reception with hanging our coats detail, passing by the pile of magazines; the tasty cappuccino made with capsules attached to the wall (original touch); the «talk to me» exclamated by Ergys itself; the deep massage; the accuracy; his efficiency, to the honestly when I was asked how long ago since I cut my hair last time… oopsss… like 3 months…
After I explained what I wanted, Ergys just did it!!! I’m really happy with the movement my hair has, it feels and looks civilized again…

As every one who scrolls through my reviews knows… I love me a good blow dry!
PROS: They were quick to answer my appointment request, very personable upon arrival even offering a cappuccino and a full charging station for my devices (HUGE PLUS) and obviously amazing at the actual blow dry service itself. Very smooth on top and soft curls on the bottom just like I asked for and it lasted for days! Excellent value for the price ($ 35)
CONS: I can’t think of one!

I was not satisfied with who I was previously getting my haircut by and decided to try something different. I’ve lived in 4 different cities over the past few years and finding a new place to get my haircut every time can be really tough. Part of why I kept going to my previous barber was the convenience of not having to look again but I couldn’t take it anymore.
Before Ergys cut my hair he sat me down and discussed what I want and what he would like to do. To me that was the sign of a true professional, he had a vision for what he wanted to do and took my input as well.
The cut itself was awesome. Very efficient, I would recommend this place to anyone. Very happy with my haircut!

Simply THE BEST! I would drive to the end of the earth if needed to get my hair done by Ergys. All my family members are his clients. Even my son since 10years old and now his friends– teenagers… A bit pricy but worth every penny. Immaculate customer service. Friendly atmosphere. Design of the place is gorgeous. Every visit — an event, not routine. We celebrate it with fantastic pizza next door. Treat yourself with the best possible service ever!

This place is truly amazing! After getting my hair done at another salon, it was a disaster! Went to Ergy’s for a consultation and decided to book an appointment. The day of the appointment, I was so nervous but all the staff made me feel comfortable. They are truly incredible! Ergy cut my hair and Weston coloured it. Both of them are miracle workers. Countless hours of tears from what the other salon did, these guys managed to make me smile. My hair was amazing. I’m looking forward to my next appointment in 2 weeks. If you’ve never been to this place, please go! It’s definitely worth it and I’m positive that you will never go to another salon again. Ergys Studio is the best place in Toronto. Thanks guys for giving me back my confidence.

I went to Ergys Studio a few weeks ago, because I was given a ’50% off your first style’ coupon. I had my hair done by David. The hair cut he gave me is absolutely beautiful — the layers are perfect, and I couldn’t be happier (with the cut).
Unfortunately, the colour is a whole other story. I asked for blonde balayage so my hair would be (noticeably) lighter for summer. The first time I went in, I really couldn’t tell my hair had been coloured at all, so I went back for a second go. The second visit was extremely rushed (all of my foils were in my hair in 20 minutes). I was washed and dried and sent on my way. Once I went home, I straightened my hair and realized that instead of balayage (a nice gradual and well-​blended ombré), the top half of my hair was my nautral dark blonde, and the bottom half was bleach-​blonde. It was not blended well at all — it looked like someone had put a ruler to my head and dyed the hair against the ruler.
I would go back to get my hair cut again, but unfortunately I no longer trust them to do my colour. Thank goodness I only paid 50%, but even then it was quite pricey. Luckily I was able to go to Civello on Queen Street, and the lovely ladies there fixed my hair for the summer!

Ergys has been my stylist for 10 years. He is amazing at what he does — I always get compliments on my hair. He is also very efficient. I’ve got long, thick hair and from beginning to end I’m in and out in under an hour and never feel rushed. I don’t live in Toronto anymore but I make sure to stop in because he’s that good!

Ergys is the man! I have been getting my hair done by Ergys for years… he always does an exceptional job, you can tell he is passionate about the quality of his work and the experience of his customers while at his salon.

I’ve been to at least 5 places in Toronto to get a haircut and so far Ergys is the best one by far. Prices are fair and the quality of the cut is great! All the staff is friendly and professional, the place is very modern and comfortable and it has an amazing lounge to wait while you are served a cold drink. You wont regret coming here. I have been a customer of ergys for a couple of years now. Satisfaction guaranteed!

I came in here for the first time and I loved it. Amazing experience and great, very friendly staff. Ergys cut my hair and I absolutely love it. Most importantly, the colour applied (elumen by goldwell) looks fresh and bright even after four weeks on the sun and salted water. My hair feels much healthier and shines. This salon is the best and definitely exceeded my expectations.

I came in here for the first time and I really enjoyed it. They guy did my blow dry fantastic, the atmosphere is very clean and neat, plus I got a cappuccino so that’s a plus! I highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Ergys for years before he opened his own studio. Oh, how heartbreaking it would be to lose contact and have to go through the trouble of finding someone like him! I’m so lucky my coworker revealed the secret to her gorgeous hair all those years ago. The guy is a magician – his instagram profile can back me up here.
The salon is beautifully decorated – very stylish and modern without being pretentious or overwhelming. Like the other reviewers have already said, the lounge is spacious and beautiful, and equipped with a coffee/​juice bar and flat screen TV. Love the attention to detail in the décor.
Everyone that works there is so warm and friendly – good vibes all around. They love what they do, and it shows!

Ergys has been styling my hair for almost 10 years. He is pretty much a hair god. He’s so good that even though I have moved to Seattle, I will wait to get my hair cut if I know that I am flying home to Toronto in the near future so I can have him work his magic. I had the pleasure of visiting the new Ergys Studio last week when I was in town and let me tell you, it was an incredible experience. I was welcomed into the lounge area and offered an espresso as soon as I arrived. They have a gorgeous waiting area there with a large flat screen TV and comfortable seating. My boyfriend was able to watch the world cup game while he waited for me to get my hair done, so he was happy (he also got his hair cut by Ergys that day). The cut and colour I had done for me was flawless! I really appreciated the attention to detail that the team put into it and the results are fabulous. I highly recommend you call and make your appointment to see for yourself. The service is excellent, the styling is in a league of its own, and it’s a wonderful local business to support.

I had my first experience at Ergys Studio Saturday July 5^th 2014, it was so fabulous I booked my next visit for July 8^th. I have visited hair studio’s in New York, Miami and L.A. I never imagined my BEST salon visit and best hair cut would come out of Toronto. Ergys him self cut and styled my hair, bringing new life and vibrancy to my main. More then that it is the total experience I can not say enough about this studio. From the moment I walked in the greeting was welcoming, I was offered a drink of my choice, the waiting area beautiful, even the washrooms have T. V’s. The space is gorgeous and has a very L. A feel, with genuine hospitality and customer appreciation.
I had a treatment before my cut, that was an a essential oil scalp, neck and shoulder massage, unbelievably relaxing. I knew I could trust Ergys to do with my hair what he felt best and that’s saying a lot because I am protective of my locks. I was happy to let him lop off almost 3 inch’s and change my style.
They also use an amazing line or products called ORIBE, Personally I LOVE hair and skin products ORIBE products far surpass any hair products I have experienced and that is what they are an experience, beautifully scented with an incredibly addictive smell. The Oribe products are a little more expensive however in this case well worth the price. They also carry Kevin Murphy another beautiful I have been using for quite some time.
I left feeling renewed, refreshed, very relaxed and looking forward to my next appointment Tuesday. I can assure you that Ergys Studio will surpass any expectation in every way that one would expect from a salon visit. This is also the best hair cut and style I have ever had. I am hoping that in the future they will expand and offer spa services as being in this beautiful space and the lovely energy just makes you want to find a reason to be there .
Ergys himself is not only a fabulous and talented stylist, he is also filled with a wonderful positive energy making you feel as if you are old friends. He is truthful about what your hair will and won’t do, he listens to what you want and or don;t want and makes you feel right at home. His energy is contagious so be prepared to leave looking and feeling beautiful, gorgeous and on top of the world with a smile on your face.

What do you do when you’re hair cut game is looking anything but tight, and you’ve got a slew of events coming up that require you to look your best?
Easy, go see Ryan over at the BRAND NEW Ergys Studio on Eglington Ave W! For those that follow my reviews, I’ve been a big fan of the barber scene for quite some time, but sometimes I need the extra little bit of attention and pampering that you ONLY get at Salons like Ergys.
Here is a short list of things I loved (as a guy) that other guys will love too:
1) They have a separate lounge area down and to the back, set apart from the hustle and bustle of the salon. It’s got couches, loungers and a TV for keeping up on the latest news, weather, or global sports match!
2) The lounge area has an espresso/​refreshment bar — coffee, juice, tea, water… something a little stronger (maybe?) Ya they’ve got it all
3) The lounge is already set up for a professional mens barber to do pro-​shaves for customers, check with them to see if they’ve hired someone yet as it is in the works
4) Aromatherapy service with every hair treatment. It’s a cross between a stress relieving massage of the hair, shoulders, neck and scalp, breathing exercises and special aromatic oils. It’s a great way for the stylist to break the «touch» barrier with a new client. I was totally at ease!
5) Expert consultations from beginning discussing direction and opinions to what sort of product works best for you hair and hair type/​style goals.
6) Design. What more could I say? If this place dimmer the lights it would resemble a high end Toronto night club (only bigger).
Currently there are two stylists and a colour technician working as they are just opening up, but you’ll still want to book an appointment ASAP because they are BUSY!!!
It’s also set in a really nice area of Eglington W, just after the craze of the traffic near Eglington station breaks up!
