Established in 2006.

Our Mission is to provide high quality, low cost, green web hosting services while at the same time promoting a higher level of corporate integrity, social and environmental responsibility. To this end, we will donate 10% of our pre-​tax profits to nonprofits, social organizations, and other groups that are dedicated to improving the lives of people, animals and the environment. We donate to organizations that support conservation of the environment, social justice or human rights.

What makes us different is we offer our customers the opportunity to support an ethical, social or environmental organization. As well we are a carbon neutral organization using renewable energy and carbon offsets for our servers and computers. When you choose to work with us, you are supporting a better world for everyone to live in.

Business Owner

John founded the company after working in the web hosting industry for over 8 years and wanted to bring a new level of corporate ethics and governance to web hosting. Ethical Host became the only ethical host in North America, as well as one of the first green web hosts in Canada. John is an avid camper and hiker, loves to play hockey and watch movies.
