Specialties

Your traditional family restaurant bringing authentic and clean Northern Italian food to Toronto’s Cabbagetown.

History

Established in 2011.

Since the age of sixteen, long time friends Todd Vestby and John Dawson dreamed of opening a restaurant. Almost thirty years and several careers later Todd and John will realize their life long dream in September of 2011 with the launch of F’Amelia.

They’ve both had multiple careers over the decades. Todd was head packer at the local IGA (when your groceries were packed in paper bags and carried to your car), a restaurant manager and eventually a stockbroker. John was an intrepid traveller and tour guide who brought the world to Toronto through his tour company and later was a founding partner of Queen Street’s Table 17 bistro.

Living in Toronto’s Cabbagetown, Todd and John and are fortunate to be married to beautiful women whose intelligence far exceeds their own. They each have a daughter whom they hope will support them in their old age.

Todd and John invite you to join their families and enjoy their friendly restaurant in the greatest neighborhood in Toronto.
