Final Cut Painting

While price definitely played into my overall decision, the first and foremost element I try to look for in a potential contractor is Quality. I’m sure most people know how easy it is these days to find results, whether it’s via Unilocal or Google — however the difficulty quickly becomes determining if the result which you’re looking at is reputable, is skilled at the services they offer and if they will generally offer a level of customer service that would leave a good impression.
The replies over the course of our initial communication with Dustin were prompt and succinct, which helped a lot as I was still shopping and comparing several contractors for the job. While the overall quote and lead up process was good, I have to say that when we scheduled the walk through is when I realized just how much care they put in to their work.
Dustin and Brayden arrived promptly on time and even removed their shoes upon entering the apartment. Within 15 minutes, the walk through was complete and I had a list of slight ‘defects’ that I completely missed during my initial inspection which caught me off guard because I consider myself someone who has an eye for details. Furthermore, our conversation was thoughtful and we discussed some of the rationale behind which areas to paint, which to leave as is and Brayden really brought an artistic eye to this job.
The actual day of was a breeze. Dustin’s team was communicative when they hit traffic, got in and set up while I was at work and we had a quick check in at lunch. My entire place was drop-​sheeted and the place was alive with some slick beats. Upon my return after work, Dustin’s team were just finishing up and did a fantastic job sweeping up to leave the place just as they found it. Before I could ask Dustin for it, he invited me to do a walk through of the entire place and see if I can spot any defects as well as to talk through some of the challenges his team experienced, and how they overcame them. We then drank some beers, chatted and then parted ways.
The best way to summarize this review is: Dustin and his team are true tradesmen and artisans. They care about their work and hold themselves to a higher standard than most other professionals (regardless of career). Perhaps more importantly, they treated both me, and my home with respect and for that I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Dustin and Brayden did a fantastic job repainting my new apartment. I highly recommend them and will use them again in the future.
I called several painters on Monday. They were the first to respond and stopped by that night to give me a quote. They started the work Tuesday and finished by Thursday. Super high quality job including two colors and coats, wall repair, take down of a closet and dry wall, and beautiful lines on the trim and doors.
A couple of tips:
— ask their advice on what colors to use where. Super helpful advice given their experience
— ask them to buy paint. They have good discounts on high quality paint and it saves the trouble of picking it up at the store

It’s not easy to find reliable home professionals in TO, but Dustin, Brayden and their team are the real deal. They can work to a deadline/​budget and the quality of their work is superb. Prices are reasonable too!

These guys are awesome. They consistently have made themselves available when we needed them, their quotes are reasonable but quality excellent. After having them do many jobs for our real estate clients, we finally had them do work on our own house and we are super pleased.
They work till the job is done, problem-​solve, work without needing supervision, have great trades partners and are honest, fun guys to boot. We can recommend them without reservation!
