Established in 1988.

Fresh and Clean operates within the Greater Toronto Area since 1988. Fresh and Clean offers both dry (low moisture) cleaning and steam cleaning of carpet, upholstery, and area rugs throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), and clean over 5,000 residences and commercial establishments per year. Fresh and Clean is a proud member firm of: the Flooring Institute of Ontario and are certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC), Wool Safe North America and the Wools of New Zealand, and The Carpet and Rug Institute. To keep our standing as an IICRC-certified firm, all our technicians must be formally educated in the cleaning and restoration fields, and are held up to a higher standard of professionalism and quality. We provide on going training of our employees to keep them abreast of the latest techniques and products available in the market place.

Business Owner

Lee has been in the cleaning and restoration business since 1979. Lee owns a green cleaning service called Fresh and Clean, a disaster restoration company called Dryit. ca, and a dustless hardwood refinishing company called Shine. His companies are certified green and always use the safest techniques and products possible.

Lee is a well-known advocate of improving health and safety in our industry and is currently working with the IICRC Certification Council in trying to find a common ground in health and safety for our industry worldwide. He is an IICRC Approved Instructor for WRT, HST, CCT, CCMT, and UFT. Lee hopes to leave a legacy that paves the road to safer and cost friendly remediation and cleaning for health, rather than using harmful chemicals.

I had a very pleasant experience with their carpet cleaning service. The cleaner called me early and asked if it was OK if he came early which was completely OK with me because it was the original time I had wanted but was not available at the time.
He did a great job and the price was right. I noticed after the cleaning it could have been a little more thorough but I am a very thorough person. Would highly recommended and would use again.

I purchased a groupon for this company in BC although their head office appears to be in Toronto ON.
I didn’t know what to expect at first because it was on groupon, and well you do really get what you pay for. However I planned to purchase more services from them for additional rooms etc.
Two people showed up and they did a really good job on my carpets. I purchased a groupon for $ 40 for three rooms, and decided to upgrade for a double scrub, scotch guard for three rooms for $ 199. I added on two other areas at the end and was only charged $ 20 each for those rooms.
I saved a lot of money and received a great value. Would contact them again when it is time to do the rugs, and will recommend them to friends.

what a waste of my time.
My arrival window was between 10 and 12. Quarter past 12 I called and asked for an eta. the lady said she would call right back. I waited a half an hour and then called again. I was told he would be there in an hour.
at two, no one had shown up yet. I was then told they would be here no later than 4.
at 430, still no show. so I called agaon and they said he would be here in twenty to thirty minutes.
at 530 the technician called and said he was on his way. I told him not to bother. he was quite rude and hung up on me.
worst customer service.

I happened to have a very good experience with these guys. I needed our new shag rug cleaned because it smelled like glue. I found these guys on Unilocal.I see that some people had a bad experience with the customer service but I was more concerned with the quality of the cleaning because I have a rugrat at home, so I decided to go for them.
I have to say that I was very happy with the experience. The person who came to pick up the rug called in advance to ask if he could come a little earlier. He also called before they came to drop the rug back off. He was very nice both times. The glue smell was gone and the price was very good.
I will be using these guys again.

Horrible customer service. They called me an hour before they were supposed to arrive to let me know that the appointment had be pushed back by 2 – 4 hours.
After I expressed my frustration, he simply hung up. When I called back to suggest that a good business would do anything to rectify the situation in order to keep their customer happy and returning back again, the «gentleman» on the phone said he «didn’t give a sh*t.»
NEVER CONTACT THIS COMPANY. They offer you no information about their service. It’s run by a couple of goons who do not know how to deal with people.

These guys did a decent job at a reasonable price. I was able to book using email and they arrived early in the 2-hour window. The only glitch was that the cleaner had been told I had only 2 rooms when the email exchange clearly discussed 2 bedrooms and a living room; he was kind of surly about the whole thing, but I did have the discussion in writing and it wasn’t exactly my fault his dispatcher made a mistake. Other than that, the job was done properly and quickly.

I decided to use Fresh and Clean after reading the previous Unilocal review and was happy with the service I got. They gave me a fair estimate, called to remind me of the appointment and came on time. I had 2 bedrooms and a living room/entrance way cleaned for about 110 $. There was also an additional 30 $ charge for detergent which wasn’t a problem for me. They did a great job with their earth friendly products and my carpet was definitely a few shades whiter. The dampness only lasted for about a day.
Only creepy thing about the company is that they took my email information when I booked it and now they keep asking to follow me on twitter and googleplus. Probably get a request once every month.
thanks for the service, but stop stalking me. (minus stars for creepiness)

Amazing! They came on time (how rare is that for contractors?), they were quick, did an amazing job and charged a reasonable price. The carpets look so clean, even the stains are all gone. The best part is they use all natural products and there was absolutely no smell. I have chemical sensitivities and the slightest chemical smell gives me a headache. I felt completely fine.
