I have been to this place a few times now and I have had a pleasant experience each time. The staff were not stuck-​up like you would expect from 30-​something gamers. Even though I have been playing video games since the 80s I am not too knowledgeable when it comes to the new consoles… I was looking for cables the first time I was here and the sales dude was helpful and courteous.
They’re not as big as other video game stores so their selection is a little limited. They have a printed flyer on the counter saying which games they are looking for as far as trades go, so they must be pretty particular in what they stock on the shelves.
Their location at Bloor and Bathurst is ideal for me. It means I don’t have to make the trek to Queen West or disgusting malls. Sonic Boom and BMV Books are in the hood but their selection of video games are pretty weak, and I can see why with GameStop as their neighbour. Will definitely make this my go-​to location for video games.
