High Performance Sports Medicine

After I spent the summer convinced that rest would heal my shoulder, I finally succumbed to reason and booked an appointment with HPSM. I met with Cary Chittley who quickly diagnosed the problem and began treatment.
We had a total of 6 sessions over 4 or 5 weeks, with results felt almost immediately. Cary was very personable and professional, gave me good advice about how to handle the injury in my day-​to-​day, and the treatment was very effective. Prior to treatment I could not do a push-​up without pain, and pain that lingered for a full day. I can now do push-​ups with my kids on my back (maybe just a single push-​up, but a little embellishment never hurts) pain-​free.
I would highly recommend High Performance Sports Medicine, and in particular Cary, to anyone dealing with pain.

This sports medicine clinic offers an integrative approach to sports injuries /​pain. There is a sports medicine doctor and he is supported by a team of chiropractors and physiotherapists. To rule out any serious injury (or issue), I decided to have a consult with Dr. Darren D Edelist. An affable man, he quickly diagnosed Patellar Femoral Pain Syndrome and prescribed physiotherapy. I have had 2 physio appointments and I can see results. My physiotherapist, Heather Imrie, is amazing. I am getting stronger, and feeling stronger, and even beautiful — an added value!
The schedule of the physiotherapists will affect when you next book an appointment. Luckily, there are appointments on Saturdays, so this is very helpful in case you can not book a weekday appointment. By the way, weekday appointments run till 7pm (if I am not mistaken).
