Hot Pop Factory is a fabrication shop that specializes in the creative application of laser cutting, 3D printing and CNC machining. Founded by architecture graduates Biying Miao and Matthew Compeau in 2012, Hot Pop Factory merges high-​tech manufacturing with creative design to produce bespoke, custom products and artwork. Examples of their work can be found in some of Canada’s foremost cultural institutions including the Royal Ontario Museum and the Art Gallery of Ontario.
