I Do! Wedding Cakes has beautiful, delicious cakes at reasonable prices.
They have a large selection of designs and allow you to customize the colours and flavours.
I went there for an open house in July, selected a cake and made a $ 100 deposit and then a week before my wedding we came for a tasting and made our final colour and tier selection.
They were extremely friendly and easy to work with.
The only reason this review is not 5 stars is because they don’t offer a red velvet flavour.
I would definitely recommend I Do! Wedding Cake. In fact, don’t even shop around. Just get your cake there. You’ll be very happy.
One tip:
If you have a cake topper, bring it to the tasting and leave it with them.

I do ! Wedding cakes does not only only do wedding cakes they also do custom celebration cakes that are just «WoW» phenomenal! Everyone loved the cake it was the highlight of the night. Thank you Olivia!

big disappointment, the colour of our cake was way off. a swatch was even provided. they were going to correct the colour but only at a cost. it had nothing to do with the lighting as they claimed.
there was even a model cake with the exact colours that we wanted for our cake, yet it still came out different. if I could give no stars I would.

We are ecstatic that we chose I Do! Wedding cakes because from the very first consultation– they showed professionalism, understanding and passion for what they do.
We dealt with Olivia, that sat there choosing colors with us for the cake’s ribbons for quite a while… she was patient, understanding. She tried to get in our heads and understand how we’re thinking– she waited patiently for us to choose flavours (3, one for each tier), and she spoke when she felt we needed it.

Ordered my wedding cake from I Do! Wedding Cakes and have to say I was very impressed with their work. My cake was BEAUTIFUL and reasonably priced compared to other vendors we checked out. I ordered the chocolate truffle flavor… DELISH! Overall great experience. I highly recommend them!

We booked with Olivia at the wedding show in January 2013. We used I Do! Wedding Cakes for both my Bridal Shower, as well as our wedding. We were very impressed by the detail put in to both cakes. Olivia just took our ideas, and turned them in to masterpieces! Both cakes were so beautiful and unique! Also, the cake flavours were quite good, and got a lot of positive feedback from our guests. We used I Do! Wedding Cakes for our wedding in May 2013. They were fantastic to deal with and the cake was awesome!!!
We found out about them from our wedding coordinator (who was also fabulous).
The whole experience from the cake tasting and selection process to the cake itself was very positive and we would highly recommend to them to anyone who is looking for a wedding cake. The cake designs were lovely and the owners were very open to our ideas to change certain elements of the cake due to our colour/​floral scheme. When we had our tasting, there was another couple waiting to have their tasting but I think they arrived early for their appointment…(I think they spent the time looking at the sample cakes). Despite the other couple being there, we didn’t feel rushed at all. Perhaps they can separate the appointments better but it’s probably hard to gauge how much time people will need.
The cake flavours were good — we used lemon raspberry and chocolate for our layers. The one thing we loved about the cakes were that they weren’t too sweet — many other bakeries had cakes that we found too sweet.
The only thing I would caution is that you should carefully check your order (they give you printed orders for confirmation at the beginning and when there is a change). We noticed mistakes in some cases — just double and triple check (this goes in general for all aspects!).
Overall, this was a great experience. Hopefully I won’t get married again but if I had to do it over again, I would happily use them again!

I ordered my wedding cake from them. They have delicious flavours and it was very hard for us to pick just one so we ended up with two flavours for our cake. We ended up with toasted almond and white chocolate/​raspberry. The staff are all professionals and courteous too!
The design they did on my cake was breathtaking. ALL of our guests raved about how beautiful and delicious the cake was.
For the taste and the skill that went into the cake, I’m surprised they didn’t charge me an arm and a leg. They were very reasonably priced for the budget-​conscious bride, but I definitely got so much more than I paid for.
Well done! I HIGHLY recommend I Do! Wedding Cakes. They will be doing all our celebration cakes and desserts from now on.

We didn’t order our cakes from here, but wanted to give some commentary on our experience.
Making the appointment was easy. When we got there, there was a family (they brought their entire 6 person family) that seemed to have overstayed their time. We sat down, and was to look through some of their portfolio.
Almost 5 mins into our time, 2 other couples had come in through the door and was standing there awkwardly while the big family was arguing about flavours. I guess they didn’t want to kick them out.
What is nice about the portfolio is that there are some standard design cakes that you can choose from that would be cheaper. And there are custom cakes which need to be priced separately. You can also take the standard cakes and make tweaks.
Like all the other cake places, they have some arbitrary serving size that makes no sense. We only found this out afterwards, but all their cakes at 4″ tier but their serving size is 1“x2“x5″ How is this possible?! Not to mention the venue eventually will just cut to your own specifications.
As the geeks we are, we calculated the cubic volume of all the cakes we were given and went to a vendor that gave us the most cake for the value. It wasn’t here.
The flavours they had a lot, but I found it a little more artificial tasting than others. Toasted almond was best.
I would give it a try, see if you find something you’d like. I wouldn’t cross the place off the list in your search.

Specializing in custom wedding cakes/​cupcakes, I first met the chef of this adorable local company at the Wedding Show at the Convention Centre. Her cakes on display their were absolutely beautiful! (see my photos).
However, there were many bakeries at the show, all advertising their services, all of which were selling pretty cakes as well… so why did I decide to write a review on this one company? Because the chef actually seemed interested in my story, my ideas of what I’d like for my wedding AND even suggested other cake companies that might help me if she couldn’t.
