At Iam Yoga our classes and studio are just as connected to the practice of yoga as they are to urban lifestyle. While we believe in pushing the boundaries of the mind, we also believe in pushing the boundaries of the body. We strive to capture the spirit of yoga, while making it engaging, challenging, fun, and accessible.
Here, yoga is what you make it.
We know that everyone feels pressure these days and we strive to create a space that is a place where people can renew from this pace and try to nurture everyone’s need for balance.
Our versatile and challenging classes separate us from the rest. Our instructors pull from a variety of modern and traditional yoga, mindfulness, cardiovascular conditioning and Pilates to design sequences providing you with the strength, reflection and acceptance you need to face the day ahead. From our Classis Yoga Classes like Ashtanga and Hatha, Yin Mediation and Music Flow Classes, to decidedly untraditional classes like ASS-ana flow, Neuro Yoga and Sweaty Balls conditioning classes, we offer a practice as individual as you.
We do yoga, Iam Style.
History
Established in 2008.
Founded by Linda Malone in 2008 Iam Yoga was created with a lot of heart behind it «After intensely practicing yoga for several years, I became educated in how yoga can act as an influential practice to optimize mental health,» says Linda Malone, founder of Iam Yoga. «By honing in on this element, Iam Yoga has become a studio that focuses on the science and philosophy of yoga that enables individuals to use it as a tool for a healthy body — both mentally and physically.» After many years in the CPG space, Malone decided to devote her focus to her passion of yoga, gaining a deeper knowledge and understanding of how this practice can act as a powerful tool for improvement and enhancement of mental health. To Malone, yoga is much more than just a physical exercise; it works and stabilizes the mind and body
