I am APPALLED at this place. I don’t know how it is still in business. I came here on a Saturday evening after finding a long line up at our regular nail salon. It was my friend’s birthday and we decided to treat ourselves to a mani-pedi. We came across this location when wandering and decided to inquire. It is a very small little place and to enter you use a sliding door and there are exactly 3 spa chairs, which was perfect for our party of 3. We decided to try this place out(against my own better judgment). We did not feel very welcomed though. When we walked in, there was a lady sitting in one of the chairs, with a baby, half the lights were turned off and they looked like they were completely caught off guard when customers *gasp* walked in! None of them really spoke any English and the one that did, I could barely understand her. So I assume they said it was okay for us to enter and to go ahead to pick a colour. The reason that I gave it a 1-star rating, well because I can’t give it a no-star rating(I would have if I could) but the massage chairs were unbelievable. They were honestly the best chairs I’ve ever been in. It allowed you to adjust the massage balls anywhere on your body and have it stay there for as long as you wanted it to. I honestly felt like I was having a real massage, which is exactly what I needed. Okay so that was basically the extent of the good stuff. The water was lukewarm and we needed to inform them to make it hotter because it was nowhere near being called warm or hot. There was zero communication as only one person actually spoke English and the whole time I felt like I was intruding on this business, like it’s invitation only and we invited ourselves. Application of nail polish: meh. For someone that does it for a living, I expect a lot more in the quality of the polish application. You can see the brush strokes on the edge of the nail. Cutting: I’m almost certain I contracted some sort of disease as the cutting was so bad. She cut it too short and on a weird angle. I then realized AFTER I paid that she had cut me and broke skin on multiple toes. I was beyond pissed when I left this place. For a mani-pedi, it took 2 hours! I couldn’t believe it. Not only that but my lady didn’t even give me a friggin’ hand massage! I also didn’t get any sort of drying instrument, even though they clearly had fans and a nail dryer with the UV light. Upon leaving, we had to ask for a pair of flip flops to walk out with since we didn’t want to put our socks and boots back on over fresh polish. They very reluctantly gave us a pair and then we had to ask for the setting spray, which again they reluctantly gave us but of course she sprayed the least amount possible. It was at this time that I felt the burning sensation which led me to see the broken skin. Then of course once we were leaving, they gave us a card, Buy 9 get 1FREE, EFFTHAT! There’s NOWAY I’m ever coming back here and telling EVERYONE I know to never ever ever visit this establishment. My hands were NOT«in good hands»! Anyone know the signs and symptoms of hep A!!!
