The first time I came here, I got diarrhea from their pulled pork sandwich. I decided to not return. Time passes and I found myself last night at jingles, celebrating with a large group our welcome dinner. The place is a claustrophobic nightmare. The chicken parmigiana was cold. The white and red pasta were warm. The pizza was not bad but it’s a taste above pizza pizza. My biggest gripe was with the passive aggressive waiter. I sat down in a table. 3 more arrived and sat after I did. My order was not taken. He only came over because I called his attention. When he brought me my wine, he also brought the bill as I had requested to not open a tab. I said, can you wait a moment, I’m waiting for this lady. He changed his tone to a strict and aggressive tone of voice to pay now. He was not going to get stiffed! It was a packed room. I was going nowhere. I didn’t like being treated like a thief, when others were taking their time to pay, not just me. I gave him cash and he brought me back a bill and small change instead of a loonie. What a passive aggressive a$$h*l@. I plan on not attending to this establishment.

I have been coming to this bar since we moved into the neighborhood in the spring. The bar is owned by the same family who run the Spiga Italian Restaurant as well as Boccone Deli & Pizza both next door. Enjoy a drink and order an excellent Italian meal from Spiga. The staff is friendly and you can sit inside or on the Yonge Street patio. We were new to the neighborhood but soon we felt right at home.
