I have experience in a wide variety of health concerns and work to bridge conventional medicine with natural options.

History

Established in 2012.

My path to become a Naturopathic Doctor started with a degree in biology where I found the amazing world of nature. I quickly realized that the human body and the natural ecology of the world often followed very similar rules. After graduation and traveling to Asia, I started to see how Eastern Medicine made sense of the ideas and knowledge I gained in my biology training. There I experience the power of acupuncture and herbal medicine.

I came back to Canada and entered a very intense 4 year Naturopathic Medical program and became a Certified Naturopathic Doctor. After graduation I have continued to learn new amazing ways to heal, such as Bowen Therapy and Unda Drainage remedies to detoxify the body. As a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, I regularly do speaking engagements for company lunch and learn talks, for associations and at public events.

Business Owner

Dr. Joseph Steyr is a Naturopathic Doctor who brings a blend of conventional medical science and traditional health philosophy into his practice, which allows him to see a person’s health from multiple points of view.

Dr. Steyr’s practice on understand where the issue started and focuses developing a plan to treat the root cause. Dr. Steyr’s large knowledge base in various healthcare techniques such as clinical nutrition, herbal medication, acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine, Bowen therapy and counselling, means he has many different tools to help.

He currently is a writer for Paralegal Management Magazine and The Endometriosis Network Canada and AWAL: Attorney with a Life.
