LCBO

Located in the Shops of Don Mills this is a convenient location for me. While not as big as some other locations this is still my favourite one. I find the staff really friendly (they always come up and ask if I need help with anything, which never happens at other locations). The selection is great and they even have some sakes that I haven’t seen at other locations.
Ask the staff a question and they know the answer or will find out for you, but they never act like it’s a bother. Their friendly attitudes is a nice refreshing change.
There is dedicated parking spots in the covered lot right across from the store, but to be honest that parking here is crazy pretty much anytime of the day so it doesn’t really help. Also, going in and out of the lot is weird — too narrow and the flow of driving doesn’t make sense — but nothing to do with the store. Just can be a hassle at times especially if you come at a busy time.
Red, whites, pinks (rose)…all the colours in the world make for a great sip!

This is a great and spacious LCBO… one of my favorite locations. Sometimes they have taste testings available and I don’t know what’s better than walking around buying booze while drinking!
Great service and nice Vintages section. I really love Antinori’s Tignanello… a super Tuscan wine and very few Vintages has this selection… but this one does!
Great location and great selection. The sake choices are great here!

This LCBO is located inside Shops at Don Mills.
I am not surprise that they have a great selections of beers, wine and everything… even some not so common sakes.
Staffs are friendly and cheerful. Always enhanced the experience!
There is also some dedicated parking spots for LCBO customers in the covered lot just across the street. great if you just want to pick up something quick!

Normally I‘d be in and out of an LCBO store but this time I got the chance to speak to one of their employees about certain red wines.
I wanted something delicate that won‘t leave my mouth dry after 4 glasses. I feel so bad, I forgot her good name. She recommended J Lohr brands and Maria Christine and both were very lovely with low tannin levels which I enjoyed very much.
She took time to listen to my whiny remarks about the reds and the whites.
But am suprised with her patience in putting up with my virgin wine-​drinking ‘wannabe‘ways.
However, after her tales of personal experience with experimenting with taste herself, she made me feel so at ease. I will make it a point to go back and thank her for sure!
My white wine drinking days are a thing of the past now, or maybe. But I‘m definitely going to keep my options open… and tastebuds as well.
